The food here is amazing!!! My employer had a staff luncheon here and I came back the same week to take my mom for her birthday. It was great the first time and just as good the second. The service here was also great. Our waiter, which I wish I remembered his name, was very friendly to us and checked in very often to ask us if we were okay and to swap out used utensils when needed. The wait for us was not long either and when our chair and tables were wet, a staff member addressed it immediately. The drinks are good. My drink, a punch (forgot the name), was super strong. I wish I would had requested a side of juice just to balance the alcohol. The food.... whoa baby! The macaroni and cheese, collard green, salted potatoes, candied yams, Korean ribs, brisket, ribs, chicken, cornbread... ALL OF IT WAS AMAZING. For the first 10 minutes my mom, friend and I were just were just grunting with contentment of how good the food is. My mom and friend never been and they look forward to going back soon. PS- if you go on a date or relaxing outing, across the street is a pier where you can sit on a bench and chill out (when is at you discretion). This restaurant also plays good music and art atmosphere ambience fits the theme of the restaurant. Last but not least- the bill... for 3 entrees including one extra side, 2 appetizers (salmon cakes that could be bigger and the deviled eggs, both were amazing), 1 alcoholic beverage, 1 virgin pina colada, and a lemonade, the total was $97. That is good considering all that we had. I look forward to going back and hope for the same experience.

3.5 stars - My first dining experience at this infamous BBQ chain was actually in Rochester while on my interview trail. Remembering how much I enjoyed the chicken + the side chili, I signed up immediately after seeing the deal on Howaboutwe. My fiancé and I appeared about 15 mins late to our reservation after epic train fail. To our surprise, they held the table for us even though there was a line through the door and every person walked in was quoted for an hr and half wait. Although this place was packed to the max - our server was beyond attentive and accommodating to us. Our deal which was brought out almost immediately after seating included a sampler platter, 1/4 rack of ribs, 2 sliders, a dessert, and two flights of beer (4 flavors each). We were allowed to swap out the beer for soft drinks - on top of that, he pushed for us to get an extra free dessert to make up for the price difference we paid for the deal. The food wasnt anything extraordinary - perhaps its because Im not a big BBQ fan to begin with. Although the ribs were fall off the bone good, definitely wished I had the same chicken I had in Rochester instead. In addition, They didnt have the chili as a side so we opted for the sweet potato and BBQ beans which were both just ok. They also sold out on the chocolate ice box so we went with their Dino cheesecake and keylime pie - again just your standard sweets. Overall definitely an awesome deal especially for the amount of food and service we received. But I have to say Rochester dinosaur BBQ was much superior!

I came here for a 4th of July celebration with my girlfriend. Luckily, we booked reservations through OpenTable or else we would have had to wait about 1-2 hours for a table. I love ribs and wings, so this was definitely a must-try. When we arrived, we were immediately offered a table during the busy July 4th day. Our server, Matt, was very friendly and answered the questions we had about the menu thoroughly. We decided to get the Sweetheart Deal for Two as well as the Swag Sampler Plate. For our sides, we got Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potato, BBQ Fried Rice, and Simmered Greens. This was definitely a lot of food and was more than we could handle. The Full Rack of Rib was definitely bigger than we thought, and it was very good. However, I thought the ribs from Dallas BBQ tasted better, aka they were more flavorful. I really LOVED the sweet potato. It is very creamy and full of flavor. The Sweetheart Deal for 2 is definitely very filling and we didnt even need the Swag Sampler Plate. The sampler plate was nothing special and just consisted of eggs, shrimps, wings, and green tomatoes. Even though the restaurant was very busy due to it being July 4th, our server, Matt, would check up on us often to make sure we were doing ok, which I thought was very nice of him. Overall, the food at Dino is definitely a great value, since you get HUGE portions for your money, and the service is great. However, the food itself is only just good, but not amazing. If you want good BBQ food at a great price, this is definitely the place to go.

Dino BBQ is miles better than something like Dallas BBQ but the quality isnt up to par with higher end BBQ joints. The first time I had it was on a Yelp cruise where they were serving pulled pork sandwiches and I though it was great. Since then I havent really had an amazing experience. This was my first visit to this location. We started off with the nachos. Some of the photos on here make them look amazing but they werent that large or with as many toppings and the photos suggest. The cheese tasted like it came out of a can. I went with the tres ninos for dinner. Pulled pork was definitely my favorite of the bunch. Brisket was dry without a ton of flavor. The ribs were good but not as tender as I would have liked. Nothing has much of a smoke flavor which is a real disappointment, I love my BBQ to have a nice smoke ring with some heavy smoke flavor. The mac and cheese and sweet potatoes were very good. BBQ fried rice was interesting, nothing something I would get again but not bad either. If I was looking for reasonably priced BBQ it would be hard to convince myself to come here over Mighty Quinns. The price point is very similar and I have to give the nod to Quinns on quality and flavor. Dino BBQ has gotten some major competition in the past few years and I feel like it hasnt held up well.

Visited on a rainy Saturday night hoping for an enjoyable evening. The place was packed to the brim, as it should be on a Saturday night, so I made my way to the bar for a drink. While waiting near the bar for a group of my friends to order, the man setting up the equipment for the live band that night asked in a very stern tone if there was something he could do for us. I said that I was waiting for the bar and made an offhanded comment about joining him on the small stage to "rock out" in an attempt to make conversation. He responded by saying, very sternly again, that I shouldnt play with him. "Dont play with me boy" he said, stepping within a foot of me. He told me not to "touch any of his sh**" or hed "walk my a** out the door." He then told me not to even think about stealing from him, or things would get "a lot uglier for me." I was dumbfounded and had nothing further to say. I walked to my group of friends, ordered my drink, and enjoyed the rest of my night. The food, atmosphere, and service was excellent, save for that one aggressively sour apple that I was privelaged enough to take a bite of that night. I can legitimately say that this one overly angry and protective man effectively ruined my desire to return to this restaurant. I have contacted management about the issue.
