I had a most unpleasant experience dining there this past Spring. I ordered the Sheppards Pie, which was just fair, and when I asked for a piece of bread with my meal, the waitress brought me a slightly stale slice (one) with no butter. When the bill came, the owner charged me .75 cents for the bread. When I questioned the charge she was rude and defensive. Never again. Instead I go to the Essen Cafe, which is close by----the food is a marked improvement.

Beach Street Cafe is exactly what you want when you seek: quaint town, no long wait, cute diner-cafe-like interior, inexpensive, prompt and friendly service, and actually tasty food. No, I wont be writing in for some innovative french toast recipe, but it was reliable, fresh, and tasty. Ive gone twice now while dropping a daughter off at college. Ill be back.

Decent breakfast food, alright prices. I got the kielbasa, pepper, onion, and cheese omelette. No real complaints but nothing standout. Respectable enough stop off if youre in Manchester one morning.
