This place was recommended by a local. But service was extremely slow and the food wasnt good. The waitress never came back to check how everything was until we were almost done. The fish cakes tasty fishy, and not in a good way, like they were a frozen product from a box. Same with the hollandaise sauce, it came from a box, not real egg yolks. I didnt want to make a fuss, my eggs and the home fries were ok. When she finally came with the check and I told her about the fish cakes being fishy, she didnt offer to remove the cost from the bill. We had to get going so we just paid and left.

The Morning Glory is a great place for breakfast and for a feel of home. If you want great food at a very decent price and at a fair speed, try this place out. It offers breakfast all day! Great for those late breakfast goers, amd lunch as well. Service is good, but cant expect food for every table at the same time if it is busy. This place fills up fast, and the waitresses rush around. Seems like 90% locals who have been here for years. Friendly environment and cozy.

Great little cafe for breakfast and lunch. We arrived 30 minutes before closing at 2pm and our food was served hot and fresh in time for us to eat and be out by 2. Great, friendly server. Located right across the street from the water, so the view is beautiful. Food is good and prices are reasonable.

Across the street from where the sea wall ends youll find Morning Glory Coffee Shop. Like much in Gloucester its small in size, but big on service. Great people and good food! Try the homemade onion rings, theyre delicious! Had the grilled cheese, made on homemade bread and as good as the onion rings!

Food was good diner fair. Sandwitches etc. The waitress was wonderful. I wouldnt call it gourmet but it was good. The atmosphere is nice diner and clean. Id say the prices on some items are a little high but specials were good. Looking for a diner almost on the ocean? This is a good choice.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, view, staff and other customers all delightful. We had the pecan waffle and caprese eggs Benedict, one of the specials. Both are highly recommended. The weather was gorgeous, so we sat outside overlooking the harbor.

Love love love going here during the summer whenever possible. The interior isnt spectacular but it most certainly holds some charm as its decent. Id say the location is great but, the food is just as great!!!!

Yummy! Delicious homemade hash. Anadama toast, bomblette omelette, blueberry pancakes all delicious! Even the cup of oatmeal with brown sugar and milk was heavenly. This place is a real gem!

Went their for breakfeast . It was ok . I thought the price were high for breakfeast. I didnt understand why they cannot substitute sasuage for bacon without charging extra .

One of the best shops in town. Two eggs with Bacon and Tuna Melt are always great. Service is friendly. Price is right. The view of outer Gloucester Harbor is just a bonus.
