Excellent food with a variety of quality options. If you are more of the chia seed soaking, avocado smearing, smoothie enjoying sort of breakfast person, this gives an updated spin on traditional diner fare. I first went to a First Watch in Columbus, OH and was excited to see one in MD. They can get pretty crowded, but that is merely a testament to how popular this location is. All items have calories listed, but I warn, if you are eating a full plate the meals are still calorie dense. Be warned, bathrooms are small and there is a ridiculous amount of old ladies who are likely to shut off the bathroom light while you are in there, panic when you ask them turn it back on, run and...leaving you stranded in the dark with your pants around your ankles. Thank goodness for cellphone lights.

I have mixed reviews on this spot- I will say that the food has always been good though. We have been here about 5 or so times. The first few times were 5 star experience but the last 2-3 not so much. The service was terribly slow. And I do not just mean for the food. Waited for water for almost 10 minutes and finally got it from a different server. Same for the crayons which sounds silly but keeping a 2 year old occupied in a booth has its window. Will likely try it there again in the future and will update this post based on the experience.

I took my wife and two toddlers to this place. The food was terrible, crab and asparagus was not edible, hair in my food, all the food was undercooked, the $5 kids meals had twice the food our meals had and with tip we spent $50 on breakfast,plus the cashier tried to short me $5 dollars like i wouldnt catch that. this place is always packed, I dont understand it maybe we had a one off bad experience.

I had the Kale Tonic drink, a cranberry nut wholewheat pancake, avocado toast, and 2 fried eggs this morning--everything was absolutely DELICIOUS. I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant in search for a good breakfast and I am soooo happy I did! The atmosphere and attentive wait staff were fantastic. I will be going back ASAP!!!

I love first watch! I come here with my partner on the weekends. Its usually pretty crowded. Theres great service even when crowded. I like that they serve an entire coffee jar to your table. Food is great and cant wait for my morning brunch!

I have been twice and the food has not done it for me. The most recent visit I had the crab and asparagus omelet and it had a very fishy flavor. The service was excellent and the staff is really friendly. Overall I would not recommend it.

Good food and friendly service, but its loud in there even when only half full. Coffee and food could be a little warmer, but we enjoyed our meal. I had the Farmhouse hash with a sunny side egg and my boyfriend had the corned beef hash.

By far the best chain breakfast place. Nothing else even comes close. The food is consistently delicious no matter which location you visit across the country. You really cannot go wrong with any item on the menu.

The food and customer service is on point. I have never been dissatisfied with any item/dish ordered. Staff is always attentive and courteous. Todays selection, cheese omelet, blueberry pancake, hot tea.

The food was ok. The gaint pancake was rather grainy. There is no distinction between the waiting area and checkout area, which makes arrival and departure kind of confusing.
