More Than "Just A Crab House"! COSTAS INN delivers again with their constantly changing daily menu. This time I tried the raw bluepoint oysters. I was served with a smile and the oysters were simply huge! Two of them were almost as big as the coaster, my Bass Ale draft rested on. Just one dozen had me mostly full and I have eaten more than four dozen smaller oysters, at a single sitting in other raw bars. Then my meal arrived, one of the most succulent pieces of prime filet, green beans in a savory sauce and baked potato with sour cream and butter. Needless to say, I required a take home container. My only regret is that I hadnt room for dessert!

The two bartenders were wonderful one was Sarah and I didnt get the other persons name we had large crabs $80 a dozen however they were small yet seasoned good they both apologized for the size the manager came over and said it was because they were from Texas which was a excuse Im a big customer service person I felt like he should have discounted the check a little, the bill was 90 something and we tipped 20 not for the food but for Sarah!! The manager had no clue than to say well I can take them back which wasnt the answer you better ask the true size before you order which is my advice for getting crabs!!

Why this place has only two reviews I do not know. It was quite busy at noon on a Friday. I had the Maryland crab soup and it was very good. This did not approach however the jumbo crab cake which I had broiled. High lumps, no garbage meats, minimum filler, nice and airy and creamy with a lightly crisped top. Had sautéed mushrooms and mixed veg as sides. Some of the best mixed veg Ive ever had as a side anywhere, nice variety and perfectly cooked. The fresh bread they gave with the soup was also awesome. Servers were cute and very friendly. I want to go in here and drink many beers and eat crabs.

By far THE BEST CRAB CAKE at the 2015 MD SEAFOOD FESTIVAL !!!! My first time ever eating a Costas Crab Cake and definitely wont be the last! I tried every one of them at the seafood festival and this one beat out all the rest! My husband is a long time fan so I finally got the chance to try and fell in love! For a very picky crab cake eater, this is the place to be! No filler and no peppers like those other places! It tastes like its supposed to! Jumbo lump perfect crab in every bite! Thank you for teasing my tastebuds! Now I want more and more!!!

Sorry to say that i had one of the worst Broiled Seafood Platters .... The Shrimp and Scallops were all raw in the middle ...i sent the Shrimp and Scallops back to get Broiled .. Believe it or not they came back the same way Raw in the middle ? The Crab Cake was pitiful small and tasteless... the waiter talk us into a a Greek Salad for two ....it was one of the smallest Greek Salad for two ? about the size of a regular Greek salad..... I should have taken a picture of the middle of the raw Shellfish, Small Crab Cake and Small Salad for two ?

This is a place is for crab lovers with a variety of crab options. They do have a variety of other options, including spaghetti and will make you a veggie friendly dish if you are not into meat or seafood. There were 5 in the party with 3 ordering a crab based meal, one spaghetti, another some sides,and one beer. Total came to $100 so expect to spend $20 to $25 per person on entrees. Decore could be improved some. Atmosphere can get noisy and sometimes there is a wait on weekends. Call ahead to reserve seating.

My Husband and Myself have drove by here so many times and just never had the erge to stop in. Upon entering we were informed that they dont have any crabs. Service was good. We love old bay in our crab cakes, there was none. The cream of crab has, what I think was chunks of flour instead of chunks of crab. Overall experience, Not the best place weve gone to. Not the worst either though. Mediocre, is how Id describe it.

My husband and I went there today and he had the scallops and cream of crab soup and I ordered the Orange Roughfy Rockafeller and let me tell you the food was awesome. This was deff the best fish dish that I have ever ate. It was so fresh and the portion of fish was huge I had to bring home the rest of my meal. I would deff go back here. Some of the prices are a little on the pricey side but its deff was worth it.

First time here. Must have gotten food poisoning as after the meal I couldnt make it quick enough to a bathroom. I thought I was gonna die. I was weak and very pale sitting on the can for over an hour. A day later Im still in the bathroom. One other person who tried my ribs got sick too but nit as bad so my suggestion is dont eat the ribs. The crab cake was good but after this experience I wont be returning.

I have only been here twice but both times my Crab Cake platter was awesome! I love the atmosphere in this restaurant and the staff was friendly as well. The food portions I got was definitely worth the money paid for it. The steamed crabs are very good as well but you may want to call ahead to check/ reserve your crabs if you are planning on purchasing several dozen for your party. I cant wait to go back.

Iam a small business owner and have my company party there every year. The people and service is great. They know how to treat you and make sure everything is the way it should be. The food and crabs are great also. From all of us at All About Lawn and Landscaping I personally like to thank everyone for there hard work. Great food and hometown friendly vibe! Live music , steamed crabs as well as other great seafood and pit beef and ham sandwiches all types of food. Great for those who prefer a quiet restaurant or the bar scene well they have both! Great for eating crabs and watching the game with friends or just to have a drink after a long day at work!! Costas inn is great for all occasions!!!

As always, we were greeting kindly by the owner Pete and he made us feel like part of the family the whole time. We truly enjoyed our Steamed Crabs and dessert. Pete even took our us and our Son back to show him a live crab and where they are steamed. If you are looking for amazing crabs and an experience you wont soon forget... be sure to go to Costas Inn!
