This is a great place for some high quality ice cream. From the inside out, you can tell they meal business! The building is very well taken care of and the eating disagree is clean. The ice cream selection is perfect and plenty of toppings to finish off your dish. I wouldnt recommend going through drive thru. 2 of our 4 dishes had the wrong topping. Instead of Heath they have Butterfinger, instead of chocolate they have peanut butter. They write down your order and then make your dish where its made all at the same time inside. Anyways, you get to sample the flavors of you go inside

My neighbor & I had gone to a Farmers market & as we were leaving, she asked if I wanted to go to her favorite ice cream place as a nod to the end of summer. "Pleasant Hill?!" I exclaimed. "You drive all that way for ice cream?" "Yep". And she told me the story behind this outstanding place. Ice cream is not huge for me (I do like Whiteys in Davenport). This is awesome!!! Friendly, welcoming, fun, & delicious! Go!

I went there for the first time the other day. The staff was friendly and eager to answer any questions I had about flavors and menu options. The building was very clean and well taken care of. The prices are low, but the quality of service and food were fantastic! I look forward to coming back again in the near future!

Fresh Ice cream at a place where you can watch them make the ice cream? Whats not to like? I love the fact that from year to year the menu is not the same. The have seasonal and monthly rotations so keep an eye out on when youre seasonal favorite is due to be retired.. and hope it makes the permanent menu..

I got scoops of ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone with 2 different flavors of ice cream and an additional flavor for a topper. Thats 3 different flavors of ice creams in one cone! Great selection of flavors, Id highly recommend stopping in for a treat.

Nice new place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff and good tasting ice cream. The also sell candies, but they are not quite up to the quality of the ice cream (stick with the ice cream). A great alternative to the chain stores.

Best hard icecream in the Des Moines area. Love the topper scoop. Very unique. Definitely must try the flavor of the month. It is always interesting. Outside seating available. Staff is friendly and helpful. Havent had a bad experience yet.

The owner is friendly and very proud of her product, which I found very inviting. Homemade waffle bowls were fresh and delicious and so were the flavors of icecream! Store is immaculate. I enjoyed my experience very much and will be back!

Love this place, it is locally owned, and the owner is very responsive and friendly. get a scoop of ice cream, plus a baby scoop on top of any flavor to mix it up a little bit. Cant say enough good things about this place!
