"I give this restaurant one star because of the lousy service and environment. If you like loud cafeteria style restaurants then you would love this place. But if you like a bit more private and more comfortable seating with waiters that check in on you every couple minutes to make sure everything is good then dont eat here. My husband and I got the hamburger and it was just alright, nothing special. After we ate our food it took the waiter at least 20-30 minutes to bring our bill. I have never had bad service like this before and was pretty shocked considering we went around 2:30pm when the crowds were leaving. We also sat inside where the TVs had sports going on and they had running playing. I dont know about you but running is not a sport that I like watching and most people I know would not like that either. Next time maybe put some real sports on your TVs (examples: football, baseball, hockey, etc). I will never come back to this restaurant again. There are so many great restaurants around Healdsburg I would defiantly not bother with this one."

Made a special trip up to Healdsburg from the Bay Area to try HBGs "top 25 in the US burger" but was incredibly disappointed! The meat tasted rather spoiled and the bun was tasteless, ugly and deflated looking. The fries were just like McDonalds (which isnt necessarily a bad thing) but they were overcooked and really salty. The milkshake was delish because the ice cream was great and very chocolate-eeee but it wasnt whipped enough to suck through a straw so I had to eat it with a spoon. The wait staff was constantly asking if everything was okay which was a bit annoying but they were just trying to be nice. Sorry!!! I was really hoping to have a great burger but wont go back.......

Wow about the burgers and the ambience. We sat outside and enjoyed the shade and August weather. The bacon chips were sinfully amazing. Panko breadcrumbs & rich, thick sliced bacon. Burgers were delicious. Known also for their truffle fries, but they were too pungent for me. Sonoma pear cider was a perfect complement to the burgers. Perfect service. Knocked off one star because I practically had to pee on public because the stall door would not stay locked.

After watching three groups of four, all who came in after my group of 3, get seated at tables for 4 (there are NO tables for 3), two complaints and 45 minutes finally got us seated, and a chat with the manager. He promised to "make things right." What did he do? Nothing. He didnt even get a server to our table ahead of the other (unwitting) line jumpers. This place has earned the ultra-rare personal distinction of a place I will NEVER PATRONIZE AGAIN.

Food was phenomenal!!! I had a Cuban which tasted wonderful. Not a traditional Cuban, but the flavor was amazing. My friend really enjoyed her Reuben & we all enjoyed the fries. We sat outside on the patio which was enjoyable. Service was fast & our waitress Krissy was attentive & helpful with menu suggestions. Loved this place. Will definitely return!

Great place, the service is good, the food and the quality is top notch and most of all the Beer selection of the Micro Brews in the area are outstanding. Located in the Heart of Downtown Healdsburg you get a sense for the area and some of the best California Micro Brews. Oh, try the Smoked Amber Beer MMMMM Very good indeed

Healdsburg Bar & Grill is fantastic for getting a ice cold beer and succulent burger. Obviously Healdsburg is known for its culinary mecca on the square, but HBG is perfect for those wanting to avoid pretentious dining locations and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend for lunch.

An upscale casual place to enjoy good food and good drinks with friends. Give their Mac n cheese a whirl it wont disappoint. Not a fan of their Angus beef, just dull. Stick to their truffle fries, their wings are a plus. Stay away from their Flatbread pizza doesnt hold up.

Service great. Food great and they had guinness which after a day of wine tasting was a nice treat. We had burgers done perfectly. My husband had bread pudding it was scrumptous! I say if you want a quick bite lunch or dinner with no fuss this is your spot.

Great relaxed place for a meal. The staff is very efficient and friendly, extensive menu and excellent wine list. I had a burger, it was prepared perfectly. Sitting on the patio at HBG with a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon ... nothing better!

We were fortunate to arrive after the dinner rush, and got seats at the bar. The service was friendly and the place is comfortable. We cant comment of the food, but the margaritas were not good. Expected better from a venue that is so popular.

Best burger and fries in town. Its perfect on a warm day to sit out on the back patio and enjoy a beer, burger, and fries. They offer a chipotle seasoning on the fries thats spicy, but good. Definitely a staple after a day of wine tasting.

I had been craving Mac & Cheese for a few weeks. I finally came here for lunch and ordered it! I was not sorry! It was delicious! If you have not tried their Mac & Cheese, I highly recommend it. It was dabomb!

Really good burgers and fries. Fresh ground beef cooked to medium rare perfection. I added blue cheese to mine and it was sensational. Service is good. Centrally located on the main drag of Healdsburg.
