Ive been to Guatemala many times. Ive eaten really good bread there. My favorite panaderia there is Panaderia Ideal in Colomba Costa Cuca. This bakery is as good as that one or better. Ive been coming here for years. There used to be a location on Bryant St near Potrero St. That was quite a few years ago. That was my first encounter with this bakery. That was about 25 years ago. Their success has grown a lot and rightfully so. Im very glad there are 2 locations now. The other is on Mission St just passed 30th St. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I stumbled upon this place last weekend and what a treat it was. There were plenty of people there. The kids and movement where quite joyous. I had a pastry and it was tasty and the coffee was decent. They also have more substantial foods like that of most taquerias, which I will have to try later. Parking is not too bad, there is plenty of table space and the room itself it spacious and bright. The only downside is that the power outlets dont work.
