Had dinner here based on strong yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. The restaurant interior is very much a "hole in the wall" atmosphere so go here for the food and not the ambience. The owner is very friendly man. I had the lamb and rice (roasted lamb skewer), my daughter had the chicken shawarma which has roasted chicken slices over rice and my wife had the beef skewer (roasted seasoned ground beef on a skewer). All our dishes came with a generous side serving of yellow saffron rice. The dishes were also accompanied by a bowl of soup. We all had the lentil soup and it was delicious. The dinner also provided a generous helping of toasted pita bread and 6!different Mediterranean "dips" - hummus, tabbouleh, a yogurt/cucumber dish, tahini, baba ganoush, and one other dish I cant recall. All of that for just under $10 a person -- amazing value! And the food was delicious. If you have never tried Mediterranean food but like roasted meat, this is a good place to try it In addition, we tried the falafel which is fried balls of mashed chickpeas. It may not sound appetizing but I think 90+% of meat eaters would love it if they tried it without knowing what it is. And also tried the hibiscus juice, a slightly tart and refreshing drink that is perfect as a summer treat. All of it was excellent. The interior ambience is nothing to rave about but the food is five star and an amazing value for the quality and quantity. Definitely going back there next week!

I got horrible food poisoning from there Ginger Chicken Salad. I called the next day to let them know about it so they could check there product. I talked to a manager named Judy, she was rude and inconsiderate, asked if I had a doctors note and sounded annoyed by my phone call. I told her I was not calling to get anything from her I just wanted them to know so they could check the product to insure no one else would get sick. She did not apologize for the incident. All she said was ok, thanks, and hung up on me. I went to this restaurant on a regular basis before this, I will not go back due to the way this situation was handled, all this did was show me it must have been my fault I ate there food not there fault for serving salmonella ridden food.

We went there for the fish on a Friday night. We got there at 5:00 pm and it was not very crowded. It seemed to take forever to get our food. The fish was ok, but the portions are small for a fish fry. I think i received about two tablespoons of cole slaw and about two tablespoons of tartar sauce. Waitress never came around to see if we needed anything or how the food was. Beverages were all empty and nobody seemed to care. I wont go back for fish. There are too many places near by with just as good of fish, with better portions sizes and lower prices.

We used the catering for our wedding. Excellent food and warm even with all the distance. Only problem was they packed up WAY too early. Some people didnt even make it through the line and had to ask them to unpack some to be able to eat, not to mention seconds! They also were put out by us wanting the left overs. Someone had to chase them down to give us the leftovers. Other than that good service and good food.

Been here a few times on the way up to our place, unfortunately I got sick every time, so we will never went back, this was a three to fours years ago. However after reading a more recent review stating horrible food poisoning, I can never try it again. Service was always good, not great but good. Not quite sure how an owner or manager can not address possible food poisoning.

My coworkers and I occasionally order lunch from there. Burgers are advertised "grilled to your liking". I ordered a burger cooked medium -it was well done and very dry. Also, the lettuce was limp and brown. I dont like their fries so I had them excluded -still get charged anyway. So, I paid $10 for a really bad burger. Bummer...never again!

Not worth a $35 dollar meal, never had a burger there but I assume that is all they are good for. Ordered ribs and they were more then fall off the bone, more like regurgitated. My Alfredo was more like soup as well. When I pay more for a decent dinner, I expect a decent dinner. I guess I got my check in a timely manner though.

We live in Frederic. Adventures is the only restaurant where we go where we are guaranteed a GOOD tasting meal, HEALTHY alternatives (not just fried or greasy foods!), FRIENDLY service, a COMFORTABLE, cozy, and professional eating atmosphere, and CLEANLINESS. We are so blessed to have a good restaurant nearby!

Service is pretty mediocre, sometimes decent, sometimes not, has never been exceptional. Food quality is a bit below average for what you pay, one pet peeve is the dinners usually come with a hard roll, which is always cold...if it were warmed slightly, it could elevate the meal quality a good bit.

Food is inconsistent. Service use to be awesome. Last time in there was a hair in my wifes shrimp. I saw through the door that they didnt do another order. Wife didnt eat it. Management never followed up on it. Use to go on a regular basis. Wont ever return again.
