If youre looking for a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere, tasty food, and wonderful service, Wongs is the place to be. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the menu is extensive and affordable. (In fact, the food here is cheaper than in many of the local Chinese restaurants - and better, too.) Theres a cheery view of Atwood Ave. from the tables by the window, and the decor is colorful and inviting. Try the house special "Singapore 3 Flavor" for something different, delicious, and spicy. If you havent visited Wongs Garden yet, give it a shot - if you have, youve found one of the best places in town to grab a quick lunch or enjoy a casual dinner with friends.

Probably the best American Chinese Ive had in years. We stopped during our vacation to the Dells. The service was welcoming and friendly and our dining area very clean. Our family ordered Curry Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Orange Chicken. The Mongolian Beef had a very distinct wonderful char-grilled flavor as if it were prepared on cast iron. The Orange Chicken surprisingly was cooked crisp to perfection and wasnt slathered in an unnecessary excess of sauce (a rare feat for this dish). Weve been craving this place ever since.

I live about two blocks from Wongs and I go there for lunch a few times a month. The owners are very kind and always ask how my day is going. They frequently offer me tea when I order carry out and wait for it to be cooked, which doesnt take very long at all! The food is great, especially the quality of the meat and vegetables. They use quality chunks of meat in their fried rice and other dishes, instead of fatty junk that some places throw in those types of dishes. I highly recommend it.

The food is good. Quality seems better than many chinese places. But..the service was SLOW. We ate on a Thursday night at 6pm. There were only 2 more customers in the restaurant. It took nearly 10 minutes just to get menus, 35 minutes for the first two plates. Third plate came 8 minutes later AND another 8 for the fourth and final plate. While we waited we saw many "to go" orders leave. Food is good, not great. Not worth the effort.

ordered food from here last night and i am now in love. the price is fair and the food is high quality. they also are very friendly and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. it will be hard for me to try any other places since i feel like nothing can compare to here. also they are going to start delivering i was told next month :D please take this review seriously and at least try the food.

My 5 stars are for the food, since that is why we went. We chose to eat at a table there since we live in Sun Prairie and wanted our food to be hot. We could easily tell its mostly a take-out place. Id read previous reviews that stated its cold in there and the staff is not friendly. Both of those issues we encountered as well. Will we go back? Yes. Because the food is that good.

I have lunch at the Magic Wok 2 -3 times a week. Love the tofu vegetable soup. I usually order this with a cup of brown rice on the side. The cashew chicken is superb, one of my favorite dishes. The lunch specials are one of the best deals in town - $5.75 for a very large plate of food, big enough to share with a friend.

I was trying to remember this place from my visits, and honestly I have no recollection of visiting until further investigation. Not horrible (but they were out of walnuts) and not great at all. Im surprised I even remembered where it was. They need a better space (perhaps smaller and cozier)

I got in to this place, got a menu and went to cashier. No body asked me if i want for here or to go. Then although I wanted to stay they provide me to go package. Then I asked for plate and fork, they provide me pretty horrible plastic fork and plate. Horrible service and fatty food

But Wongs Garden is excellent! Friendly service and quality food at a great value (youll pay 20 bucks for the same amount of food that will cost you 30 elsewhere). This is the third Chinese place weve tried since moving to Madison and I dont think well need to go anywhere else.
