This is the one of the worst places for customer service ever in my life. I when in to Erberts & Gerberts to order some food. They completely stuff it up. Once I notice it was wrong, I called and spoke to someone told me he was the manager. I some how feel he wasnt. If someone calls with a complaint you dont say "We can try to get it right, but I wouldnt hold my breath, as I just dont care about your order. Its a sandwich, deal with it!" What the hell!!!! I know its 1am in the morning, but you have no right to say that to a customer, due to the fact that you just dont listen. Its not that hard to make sure a sandwich doesnt have tomato or onion!! When I asked the guy his name, he refused to give it to me!?!? So I called back the next day and I was told the store manager would call me back...he never did. This is beyond a joke from a company that solely deals in food. I will never buy from this company again.

Have been ordering from Erbs & Gerbs for a while now. Ive had far too many bad experiences ordering from Silver Mine Subs, Jimmy Johns wont deliver to my apartment complex, and Milios & Subway dont deliver at all (at least the ones by me). I always order cold subs and have them delivered since I dont want to pick up food when Im already in my jammies and already too lazy to make supper... The experiences Ive had with Erberts & Gerberts were good ones. Friendly staff and my order is ALWAYS correct (even if I put in the comments to add extra lettuce & tomato and stuff). You get a heaping portion of everything on your sub too, its not wimpy and pathetic like Silver Mine Subs. Not to mention, delivery is really quick (30 min or less). Their subs with avocado and 2 meats are yummy. Would recommend!

Food Good!! Fresh! Cashier - Possibly new but did a good job and was patient. Owner/Manager completely unprofessional. Yelled at the cashier in front of all of the customers and when I tried to take blame or ownership and fix the misunderstanding he scolded me as well. I will continue to drive out of my way to Sun Prairie ... or order Milios!

Guy on the phone was very upset and reluctant to put extras on my sub and seemed upset when it was only one sub on the order then he got all sassy saying it was gonna be forty five minutes like he wanted me to cancel the order

Excellent! One of the best sub shops in Madison. Staff is great, say hi and bye each time I visit, know my name, and are personable. Store is VERY clean and food is always fresh. Great place. I highly recommend.

I love erberts and gerberts but this location was not good. The cashier stared at me while I decided what to get and then messed up my order. I was also disappointed to see no bread on top of the sandwich

Great service! Staff pays attention to your questions. They have a separate counter to prepare gluten free food with ingredients free of cross contamination. Its a good option for celiac people.

Ate at an Erberts and Gerberts for the first time today. Got a half sub and a bowl of soup. The chicken was tender, the bread soft, and the soup was the best. Minnesota wild rice, yum.

If you like your sub toasted you want to look somewhere else. Personally I prefer Jimmy Johns but I found that the food was of a decent quality and decently priced

Love their Wisconsin Beer Cheese soup & delivery option. Wish they had hot subs but all they have is cold subs so thats a bummer if you want a variety.
