Going to see comedy is certainly an attraction but dont expect much beyond that. We went to River Jacks for drinks, dinner, and comedy. We got there early, expecting a busy restaurant. We were the only people in the dining area and there were a few patrons at the bar. Despite being the only guests in the dining area, service was terrible. The server didnt know the specials. We also ordered some sodas and they were served to us in plastic cups. Given that the bar and dining area were so empty, they could have spared some actual glassware. As part of our entrees, we ordered salads. We then waited and waited and waited. The salads finally came and then the entrees followed immediately. The food was okay, but not anything special. The fried fish batter was too thick and the shrimp were tough. Service was a joke.

I have stayed at this hotel since 2013. I know this sounds odd, but I have eaten the same sandwich every night that I stay. The Cubano was the most amazing sandwich that I have ever had. I could barely finish it most nights. Recently, they hired a hack posing as a chef. He has systematically ruined every menu item. My sandwich now is a slider and still costs the same. They had fries that they painstakingly cut by hand soaked in a brine over night. He decided to switch to Oneida frozen fries that you or I can buy at Walmart. Last year, I told everyone not to go anywhere else. Now, on the other hand, there is a KFC and a McDonalds just down the street who put more thought, time and effort into their food than this guy. Just because youre unique does not make you useful.

The service was awful- our waitress (who did not have a name badge) seemed to hate her job, and was not friendly or helpful. When I asked her about their wine selections, she states "Just look at the menu". The Broiled fish has an awful scent and tasted the same. The "Smashed potatoes" were flavorless and had a instant potato texture. The resturant was run down, as were the bathrooms when you enter the hotel conference area... The ceiling were dirty as well. The whole place seemed to lack upkeep and care. I will NEVER return.

Weve tried this place twice because its close to our house but we will not be going back. Both times our order was messed up, things forgotten, slow on the drinks. It wasnt even busy the second time. We could only laugh at how bad it was. When I asked the bartender if they had gluten-free beer for my wife he said, "No, and Im glad about that. Sorry, if I sound like a jerk." I was sad I had already left a tip. One more thing- the womens bathroom was disgusting per my wife.

Horrible bar service. The bartender saw I was there and he continued to wash glasses..I had to wait 10 minutes for a drink. He was that way with everyone. Then later I noticed 2 groups of people come in to eat but none of the tables were cleared from the previous customers so they walked out. I will never come back nor recommend this place to anyone!

Went here on a Wednesday at about 6:15 pm. Ordered a steak sandwich and French fries. Took about 15 minutes to cook, sat at the bar and waited. The bartender was extremely friendly, and offered several selections on beverages. The steak sandwich is delicious. The fries are some of the best over ever had. I would definitely recommend this place.

Up side comedians are usually very good, Down side Simple food (wings) took forever, they messed up the order twice, never gave us our tickets we were supposed to get with our food for a drawing. They do have endless wings (eat fast they close the kitchen 30 min after ordering) your butt will be sore seats get uncomfortable.

Service was decent and friendly, food was really good and large portions. I got the reuben sandwich and fries. I did have to wait 40minutes for the food to be prepared even though I was the only person in there on a Sunday afternoon. The price is alright for the convenience being in the hotel.

This is the worst service I have ever experienced. The manager was one of the rudest restaurant employees I have ever dealt with. If you stay at the hotel, dont eat at this restaurant.

Very good food, friday night comedy during winter, saturday night bands during the summer. Outdoor bar open memorial day to labor day, good catering work, friendly staff, decent prices.
