Enjoyed our first visit to Ramones...Im sure well be back. Great location and good variety of flavors from Chocolate Shoppe. Id encourage them to add some diet/lo-cal options (e.g. Sprecher lo-cal root beer) for those of us that cant handle all the sugar but want to bring the kids for a treat. Prices are a little high for the size of the cone - Acoustic Cafe (also downtown Eau Claire) has bigger servings for the same price or even a little less.

Location and style of this ice cream parlor are right on. The ice cream was great and they have a large variety. The service was also excellent. Only downside is that we waited in line for 25 minutes only to get to the front and find out its the same ice cream thats offered at Jim Bobs Pizza. Theres also not a lot of space inside the parlor so the experience of the parlor literally last about 5 minutes.

What a delite! When we walked in to this quaint shop we were immediately taken by the sweet smell of waffle cones being freshly made right in front of us!! There was a huge line when we arrived and all the staff remained calm and smiley. Perfect summer treat adjacent to walking trails along the river towards Phoenix Park; bike trail to Chippewa Falls, Lake Hallie, and city benches along the sidewalks.

Friendly service; gluten-free cones and ice cream available. Chippewa Falls has Olsens which is awesome, and now Eau Claire has Ramones! Close by to walk along the Eau Claire River, and Phoenix Park. They plan to put an outdoor area for seating, but people are enjoying eating along the road or in the parking lot if they arent eating inside, or walking along the river.

Excellent addition to downtown! Neat inside with historical feel, staff was excellent and very friendly. You can try an example before ordering. I would recommend the waffle cone, its the best I have ever had. Pricing is okay and would be similar to other local ice cream shoppes; Culvers and DQ dont count but similar to Olsons. Definitely will be back soon.

It was a little bit busy today, but the ice cream was good so it was worth the wait. They make their waffle cones fresh on site and they had a couple people scooping so the longer went fast. They are also located convenient to Phoenix park and downtown so you can walk downtown or up one of the walking trail while you enjoy your ice cream.

The homemade waffle cones are epic. The inside is a great blend of modern, simple, and classic decor. I wish their chocolate shake was made from vanilla ice cream and then add chocolate. Mine was chocolate ice cream + chocolate syrup, resulting in a taste that was just too overwhelming. The other ice cream was smooth. Well be back again.

High quality real ice cream served in a nicely decorated space. Try the freshly made waffle cones, which are served with a malted milk ball in the bottom to prevent drips. Theyre still really busy because they just opened, but definitely worth the trip. Only suggestion for improvement would be some outdoor seating.

Welcome to Downtown! This was something the City was missing and I have been here twice. The ice cream is very good, local (Madison) but the waffle cones are the best. Not much for parking, especially during the work week and not much seating in the inside. A bit higher priced but way worth it.

Great ice cream shop with fast and friendly service and delicious ice cream. The single scoop is a huge portion of ice cream and is served at the perfect temp so it is refreshing and doesnt melt fast. They have tons of flavors to satisfy every ice cream enthusiasts unique taste buds.

Unique historical atmosphere and feel. Great people, very friendly, and all natural & locally sourced ingredients. (WI). A % of profits go to John Ritter Foundation. $ in tips goes to charity of employees choosing. Oh yeah, the ice cream is awesome too!

From the Twin Cities and came out to Eau Claire with my family for the day. Had a piece of cherry pie and a scoop of vanilla ice on top. I can only imagine that is what heaven is like.

Great little ice cream parlor with a very good selection of ice cream and Italian ice. When they get better seating (in or outdoor) ill change my rating to 5 stars.

A little pricy for the portion sizes but good ice cream and a great vibe. If the portion was just bigger or the price was lower Id give it 5 stars.
