(This is Eds wife posting). I see everyone gave a review on the ice cream and not the food. For my bad review is the food. I went after work and got 2 pork tenderloins, (which were the size of McDonalds hamburger patties, 2 small orders of onion rings, and two banana shakes (which were suppose to be 16 oz., but were only 12 oz.,) and for that I paid $20.00? Highway robbery. For food well stick to Culvers or Wendys. Your food in my opinion isnt good, and especially for that price. And you dont like that criticism I dont care. To Daniel M, WOW, am I suppose to be impressed you know someone who works there? Im not. Im 57, and traveled all 48 states with my husband (hes a trucker) and met celebrities along the way. To the manager, if you cant take criticism, then you shouldnt be a manager. I was an office manager before getting married, thats part of the job. Your comment to Miss/Mrs. Jacksons review sounded like a child, not someone of authority. If anyone should be ashamed, it should be you, not her. Why dont you grow up. And as a manager, teach your staff the difference between 12 oz. and 16 oz., because they certainly dont know the difference.

Obviously Lucy Jackson has no idea what shes talking about for multiple reasons. A. Shes the ONLY one giving a bad review B. I personally KNOW someone who works there and they actually just recently had a health inspection and, guess what? Passed with flying colors SOOOOOO they definitely arent disgusting by any means. C. They are not racist or sexist. They have multiple AA workers(as Ms. Jackson would state) and more than 1 guy who works there. Goes to show how much she ACTUALLY knows about the place. Parlor City has excellent portions and is definitely the friendliest place to go to in CR. Ive never had a problem getting my order, its always done in a prompt and correct manner, and no matter how busy they are, you know your order is just as important to the staff as the previous one and the next one. If you want to try Parlor City, definitely listen to me and all the other great reviews, because Ms. Jacksons comment is just an example of a bad customer who probably treated the staff like garbage and thought the customer is always right, even when they are not.

Run, Run away! People flock to this place but they dont know the story of whats behind the glass. They cover all their windows for a reason, they dont want you to see all the health code violations inside. If you value your health, keep on driving. I know people love their yogurts and the varied options, they raised their prices to cover the increase in minimum wage, but when the wage went back down they kept the high prices. They dont give a damn about their employees or the work environment. They keep a boy on and a AA kid to prove they arent sexist or racist.

their frozen yogurt is fantastic! the only draw back? They have one flavor at a time. But they are all good, and if you especially love a flavor you can buy a pint to take home. GREAT STUFF. (try the Irish cream flavor!!!) Oh and, as one other person mentioned, beware, the large is HUGE.

Cheap ice cream and cheap service, if you are satisfied with your order great! If not dont talk to the manager she will make you feel very bad for being unhappy with their product, and there is no way you are getting a new one.

Reminds me of soft serve ice cream places of my youth! Little stand with parking around, great flavors, and reasonable prices. Ive never tried their hot food but I need to/plan to. They take credit cards too!

Cant give these guys Five Stars anymore. Good ice cream used to be the best prices in town, they should have kept it that way. Its what kept many customers going there instead of Dairy Queen.
