I would totally give this zero stars. So, my friend and I went here after a long day of being out and about. This place was kinda busy but not too bad. The service sucked because first the guy didnt give us any water like a normal restaurant does, but asked what we wanted for a beverage besides water. The guy also never came around unless to put down something on the table. Anyway, we order a sampler plate. That was all good arrived 10 minutes later after we ordered it. The mozzarella sticks could have been cooked more. The entrees though, came 20 to 25 minutes after our appetizers, and everything but my chicken that I had on my plate was undercooked. My friends shrimp she had seemed to be thrown on the plate, wasnt even cooked but warm, her tomatoes which were fresh tasted almost rotten, and the sauce on the dish was disgusting to her. We ended up not eating it at all. I told the waiter the whole bad experience, after he came around to ask if we wanted boxes to which i told him no, he then said Ill tell my manage of what we can do. Meanwhile my friend was only to get cash just to throw, she came back to say she ended up paying with her card. I told her leave the receipt Ill deal with it, she left not wanting to deal with it. The waiter comes back 5 minutes later, and I see him wanting to avoid me and I see the manager walk pass me avoiding me, the waiter comes to me and says your friend paid, there is now nothing I can do about it. I left after that a bit annoyed. I have never in my life experienced something so horrible that I have to complain to the manager to which he never even talk to me and to rant here. Also on top of bad experience there, we had a bit of food poisoning.

We just ate a Perkins on Hastings Way in Eau Claire today. What an absolute pit. The place was filthy from the entrance and into the restaurant. I asked for hot tea to start my order. It came with a hot mug, I can only assume just came from the dishwasher and a canister of hot water. The mug still had the previous persons pink lipstick on the top. The stainless steel canister looked like it hadnt been scrubbed in years. Disgusting food residue caked on the outside and the top was equally encrusted with food and old mineral deposits from the water. Next I went to unfold my silverware only to discover that my fork was filthy. It still had food on and in between the tines. Next came my eggs. I ordered over easy. They came only just cooked on the outside and inside the whites werent even close to being done. The toast was cold. Needless to say, I left hungry. I am a food safety specialist and although I dont dabble in the restaurant business, this joint in particular did nothing to make me believe that their food safety procedures and practices are adequate or even remotely acceptable. I will be mentioning my experience at this Perkins to the health department in Eau Claire. This place and everything about it was disgusting.

This place gets worse and worse every time I visit. Last night, their floors were so greasy I almost fell walking to my table, and I watched another woman slide and hit her elbow really hard on the servers station. We were seated and waited OVER 10 minutes for someone to take our order. I got sick of waiting, crossed the treacherous floor to the front desk, and asked if we were ever going to get a server to our table. It wasnt even busy! Finally someone came over to take our order, and all I wanted was a milkshake and some french fries to dunk in my shake. My friend ordered a milkshake and a sandwich. After a few minutes, our shakes were brought to us, WITHOUT THE EXTRA IN THE METAL CUP, and they were so runny and soupy, we decided to just walk out. Why in the world would I pay $6-$7 for HALF of a soupy shake?! Then, on the way out, I realized someone had dumped what looked to be ramen noodles all over the ground by my car. I stepped in it before I noticed and had to wipe my shoes off in the grass. The whole place was disgusting, the service was garbage, and the shakes looked like watered down flavored milk. We didnt even wait around to see the atrocities they might have called "food"...

If I could give no stars, I would. We decided to take the kids out for supper tonight and thought Perkins sounded like the best choice for a sit down meal. Oh boy, were we wrong. My food came out cold- walk in cooler cold. Not once, but twice. The onion tanglers on my oldest daughters sandwich were still in a frozen clump. It was obvious theyd never touched the deep fryer. I eventually chose a different meal to try. The pot pie was the most disgusting thing to ever cross my lips. It was as salty as Bonneville, while the baby carrots it contained had the lovely flavor of mildew. I tried to eat my side salad, figuring some nourishment was better than none, but found about 2/3 of the greens in the bowl were slimy and rotten. Perkins has hit a new low.

The people here are very, very nice folks. This is reflected all the way up through management. In fact, management did a great favor for me last summer by allowing me to keep my motorcycle there until a new part arrived (it happened to fail right in front of Perkins). Unfortunately, this is the only reason to go here. Im still not sure where the breakdown happens, but I order the same thing every time (at least a dozen). Every time save for one it has been wrong. It isnt even a difficult order. All I ask for is a different kind of cheese than is on the menu in this dish. My girlfriend has also attempted to order this same dish and had the same erroneous result. It is unacceptable.

The service was good for it being busy, however I ordered a chicken tender sandwich that was overpriced, and less than par. I also got a milkshake, which was absolutely delicious. However, I now believe I may be lactose intolerant due to my illness afterwards. I also think there should be more vegan or vegetarian options, as my beautiful friend was unable to get anything other than fries and eat them with dairy free ketchup, so regular ketchup. Overall, I think Im lactose intolerant and my favorite food combo is milkshake and fries so I think in the future I will not order that. And if I do, Ill go to Arbys because they have curly fries. Thats all I have to say.

Took my mother out for brunch at Perkins on hastingsway, stupid me. She ordered steak and eggs; medium and over easy. Food took longer than it should have and when we received it, it was not worth the wait or the price. Steak was medium well and no thicker than a steak sandwich steak! Eggs were medium, not easy. Toast was cold along with most the food. Bacon was good but cold. The waitress Erin, she was great and that's why I gave two stars. Twelve dollars for a steak and eggs and you can't do any better than this?! The price you charge for this grade of food is a joke and I will not be going back.
