If you are expecting sophisticated dining, go back to Portland. This is a wonderful gem for Washougal. The people are very friendly, the menu is rich but not overly complex. I had the pulled pork sandwich, the tomato soup and a simple salad. The dressing was a bit less than fantastic but still quite good, the soup had a very good homemade taste and the sandwich was surprisingly good. Most sandwiches of this type tend to be heavy on barbecue sauce. This had just the right hint of it without being overpowering. My wife had the broccoli cheese soup, salad, grilled cheese sandwich and iced tea.. The soup was quite flavorful, though it would have been nice to have some big chunks of broccoli. The grilled cheese, again, was surprisingly good. I think they used both cheddar and provolone and it was grilled on the panini griddle. Crisp bread, soft cheese -- delicious. The ingredients were all extremely fresh and tasty. Even the water was very good. I am kind of a water snob since my home has a well with some of the best water in the county. This is one of the few times, a restaurant has served water that is close to my home water. Afterwards we both had a Umqua ice cream cone. Cant go wrong there. The prices were reasonable. This place definitely qualifies as a regular place for our meal.

Everything about this place is wonderful. I make large orders regularly and it is just as good as when I order for one. I have tried 6 sandwiches and they were all great. The soups and salad dressings are all made from scratch and equally delicious. Definitely try the chili on Tuesday!! Highly recommend!

Bethanys food is amazing, and that tomato soup is to die for. Ive never had a sandwich there I didnt thoroughly enjoy, and you couldnt ask for a happier staff. Its nice to eat where people are happy about serving you and and making food. And dont leave without trying that homemade ranch dressing.

I found the place to be a bit over rated. The food wasnt bad but three out of four tables needed cleaning. When she did later clean them they were done poorly and still had crumbs left. I found the tiny mason jars more cute than functional. It was okay. Nothing there to draw me back.

Wildflour Cafe has delicious food and the cupcakes are scrumptious. Connie and her staff always have a smile when you come in the door. Just a great local place to meet for lunch or treat the kids after school. Try it!
