After recently moving here and missing my fav Chinese restaurant I read the reviews and decided to give CC a chance. 4pm I ordered pork noodles, and a number 7 and crab puffs by phone to pick up. My order was on time for the time I requested. I was 5 minutes early so I had to wait. I hoped this meant the food would be fresh. The man at reception was polite. The price was average. There was no one inside eating at the time but it sounded like some people were in the lounge. The food was hot. I opened it within 15 minutes of picking it up. The pork was over cooked and hard to chew. It looked and smelled good The pork noodles were Udon noodles not the pork noodles that I like that are thin and flat. It had an abundance of onions in it. The shrimp and the puffs tasted like the fryer needed an oil change. The filling in the puffs was ok. The pork fried rice was soft and not bad The egg foo young had been over cooked and was hard around the edges. Usually With Chinese food I eat until Im stuffed but this wasnt as appetizing as id hoped. Until I find another Chinese food place in Washington I think Ill be getting mine from Oregon still

RUN AWAY FROM THIS NASTY PLACE! SERIOUSLY! My co-driver and I ordered $35 worth of food here. I had an order of egg roll. At first sight the egg rolls looked like fried twinkes or fried corn on the cob which mad me question what the inside looked like so my co-worker suggested that I crack it open. Now the very first one I cracked open had this ridiculously long strand of HAIR LODGED inside the egg roll. So I call the guy back and explain that theres a freaken hair inside the egg roll and you know what he says, basically that he dose not eant to drive back accross the bridge because there traffic and Im like okay if I have to bring it back I want the delivery fee and the price of the egg rolls in return. He then says no. If I come back then you have to pay me another $2.50 for commong back.I said thats crazy why would I pay you back for comming back to get this nasty hair ridden eggroll. Long story short we agreeded that I I would come and return the food and hed give me our money back. THIS PLACE IS FILTHY AND HAS TOTAL DISREGARD FOR HANDLING FOOD SAFETY

I like the drinks, but trying to order over there phone or online is like trying pull teeth by yourself.... Annoying and unwanted.... They wont substitute cheaper items for expensive items, they wont work with you on the order, I came for lunch and the waitress was great, but the pork fried rice seemed porkless and tasteless, too many chives in the lobster shrimp so I had to dodge them to eat it. Getting progressively disappointed in the place every time I come, lounge is awesome though. Thank you waitress for the service. It helps. Came back later in the weeks to a jerk of a guy at the bar, made me want to leave my drink and go home.

I used to order often, regularly making large orders for our workplace and always paying 25-50% gratuity. Now I will not order food from there again. After making the same order, dozens of times, the new person on the phone refused my order. She said she had to ask her boss before he left, she yelled to him and then said "He says No." She was rude and didnt take time to hear my order. She also didnt care about loosing my business. It looks like Taste of Asia Chinese Restaurant has earned our business from now on.

Definitely a hole in the wall kind of restaurant but well worth the stop! Waiter answered questions and was attentive, while the atmosphere was cozy and quaint. The portions, however, were giant! We couldve fed double the amount of ppl we had! Basically brought home enough food for a second dinner! Each plate was inexpensive, anywhere from $10-15 and as I said, enormous portions! Plan ahead and order 2 things for 4 ppl, because thats exactly what we shouldve done lol. We will visit again!!

I just ordered a meal To Go. When they first opened it was great, but as time goes by its getting worse and worse. I ordered a Nbr 4 dinner for $9.75. I got 4 pieces of Shrimp, use to get 8-10, the Chow Mein was 1/2 full of water, never seen that much liquid in my chow Mein before. The chicken hadnt been deep fried long enough for the batter was not fully cooked. The rice was awesome. Never been this disappointed in a To Go meal as I was with this one.

Best Chinese food ever.I have been to major cities all over the US. Ive eaten at a number of Chinese restaurants. The quality and quantity of this good is unsurpassed! Very friendly service, homemade sauces, willing to take special request and interchange sauces with entries. I love love love this place. I refuse to eat Chinese anywhere else! Amazing!

This was our 2nd time eating here ever, and we are going to be loyal customers!! We received excellent service eating in the restaurant, and the same when we placed a to-go order. We ordered the BBQ Pork appetizer, and 2 General Tso meals!! The food arrived hot, fresh, and the portion sizes were great!! Love Love Love this place!!

Went there for lunch with a group of people and really enjoyed everything I had. The Szechuan Beef tasted great, but I would have liked a little more heat to it. Really enjoyed the vegetable Lo Mein as well. And the portion size was perfect for lunchtime - not too big, but I certainly had enough to eat.

Moved to this location nearby, first take out order was excellent, everything tasted great. Second time I got delivery and ended up with hair and a mosquito in my general tsos. I mean, its good food, but Ill have to take off some points for buggery. Not my preferred choice of protein.

Owners of China Cook, where do you get off providing delicious food and quality service! By now you have probably figured out I am speaking ironically as this is by far the BEST Chinese place in Vancouver. Cant believe this is the first time we have been here!!! Dictated, not written.

Our crew enjoyed a team lunch meeting. The staff quickly accommodated our large party of eight. Wow, what generous portions of good quality Chinese food. And our server was friendly and prompt. Looking forward to visiting again and trying their happy hour specials in the lounge!

Fresh traditional flavors. The snow pea chicken is amazing! The lo mein thin noodles are so delicious and tasty. I like my sesame chicken spicier, but it was good and so fresh! Delivery was fast and they found our place easily, even though were under construction.

This place is a bit old and dirty. We ordered some sweet and sour chicken and a lo mein noodles. Both items were soaked with oil. The chickens breading was so thick that I had to break some off to get to the chicken. I dont think I will return again.
