a must, the staff is the ABSOLUTE BEST, and not just for their knowledge. every single employee is the type of person that goes out of their way to be kind and make every person feel like an individual, important customer, from the daily, drip coffee, die-hard, to the special-needs sweets-eater, to the many, many types of people who lounge for long periods, sipping, enjoying the incredibly varied soundtrack, and the always positive, always kind, always welcoming, homey environment, EVERY person, EVERY purchase IS important. I was made to feel SEEN, and unrushed (not a word, but perfect in this instance nonetheless) the first, second, and every time up to my visit today, and I look forward to all those welcoming feelings again tomorrow. I wont give my daily coffee business to anyone else, not even my own French press, add long as I have a few bucks to spare. the best part, I saved for last, this awesome coffee shop/lounge, also gives back! ask about how they like to help and in what ways, I love one cup! lifetime fan, for sure....

Been going to One Cup for a while now, since they opened actually. Always order the same thing, an almond milk latte. Only place that doesnt burn the milk! Smooth and consistent every time! Also Ive gone frequently enough and during different times of the day to know the dynamics of the front side of the business pretty well, the clientele, employees, and challenges. The heart for the location and people shown by the employees at One Cup is very evident, and effective. Most of the time when I come in I run into Leticia, Justin, Rowan(sp?), and Hector. My favorites are Leticia and Rowan, super funny and patient, especially to customers. Not that I dont think the others are, because theyre all very personable and make great coffee, Ive only seen those two in challenging interactions so to speak. Very much enjoy the fact One Cup has called shoreline home and will remain a customer there for a very long time. Oh and whoever decided to put carrot cake available should be given an award. Holy cow its amazing!

I just live a few blocks from One Cup, and I have to say it is a real blessing to have these folks in the neighborhood. Not only do they make THE BEST coffee drinks around, they provide kindness and compassion for folks in need on Aurora Ave. All of the baristas pay very close attention to detail to make sure that each and every cup of coffee you get is just what you want. The staff is friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable about all aspects of coffee... from bean to the cup. As I usually get up @0430 to start my day, I love to roll in there @ 0500 and have my triple cappuccino and hang for a minute... I highly recommend Justin and the crew @ One Cup!!

The coffee is too expensive and they dont have a diaper changing station in their bathroom or a garbage can in the restroom. I had to change my baby on the floor and walk all the outside to the bus stop to get use a trash can. They should at least place a couple trash cans outside near the entrance. I also observed a disabled gentleman who had to ask for my help to open the door for him. They should make the entrance wheelchair accessible.

Besides the coffee and the apple fritter being on point, the mission of One Cup is great. They aim to put a portion of their profits towards charity. There prices are pretty similar to that of bigger coffee chains, so even if they only give a small percentage, I am ok with that. Plus, this location is cozy and welcoming. If you have a project that you need to work a few hours on, this location will work well.

I bought a 7 dollar drink and proceeded to watch my movie on my phone when a barista came up to me that thought I was sleeping and kicked me out. Ive never once caused problems with them and it seems like they just look for excuses to feed their superiority complex. please boycott this establishment! !! They dont deserve our money or our support!! Show them we are human beings that deserve respect!!!!

Great decor, excellent service and deserving of being called craft gourmet coffee. I suppose they have no control who hangs out in front in the shop, but it looks like a line of people waiting for the methadone clinic to open. None of whom have drinks that could be from this shop... still, glad i braved it! Bit pricey, but Id rather overpay and love my coffee than get a "deal" and not enjoy.

I love the employees/staff. The coffee is great and so are the pastries. I used to live right across the street and had to go to the clinic each day. The location I would give about a 2 but thats because the methadone clinic is a few doors down. I love this place though, the staff are so friendly and its nice to have a coffee shop that knows how to make great coffee! Keep up the great work!

We went to the little coffee shop and they wanted us to hurry up and order. Well we did not know what her problem was,There was no one behind us!!! She kept on and on!! So we ordered 2 large iced caramel Mackie odo, I probably spelled it wrong, extra whipped! Extra caramel! Thick w/whip cream on top! Then we ordered 2 cinnamon rolls heated, with butter, whip cream!!! Oh ya baby!!

Good coffee, delicious food (though limited), and courteous staff in a comfortable environment. Service is a bit slow and I dont care for the always-locked restrooms. Note: Manager will charge you (less a small discount) if any items happen to "fall" of the shelves and break -- and most items do not have prices. Board games and childrens play area are nice touch.

I stopped in finally to use a deal I had bought a while ago. It was surrounded by the usual Aurora suspects (car dealerships, etc) but this place is a gem! One Cup has a great space and wonderful employees as far as my experience went. As a bonus, they carried a lot more sugar free flavors than what Im used to finding, so I really appreciate that.

Feels like home, but better. The furniture and facility are really cool. The entire place, from facilities to food/beverage, mostly feel very handcrafted--and they are, really. This is a place a seven-year-old can also enjoy. They have a little kids area. Staff are one of my favorite elements of the experience. Try a hemp mocha!

Rudest staff I have ever encountered. These people opened a coffee shop literally a block from a methodone clinic... promptly used those people to get into business, and now treats those same people like they have leprosy. Snobbish is an understatement.

Been here a few times now, still appreciate being able to spend time in a quiet space, which seemed impossible next to Aurora. Always great coffee. Always friendly staff. Good snacks. Your efforts to hustle when its busy are appreciated.

What a great coffee shop! Good coffee, great ambience. Much bigger inside than out. Comfortable, open seating, nice hardwood tables, quiet interesting music-- a perfect study spot. Wish it was open til 10 pm!

Good food and coffee. Polite staff, but they refuse to provide any other calorie-free sweetener than stevia. YECHHH! Not really oriented towards older customers who may have diabetes.
