Its too expensive and I feel ripped off. The atmosphere is great and just what you want a coffee shop to look and feel like. Unfortunately, everything on the menu is over priced, the food and drinks are mediocre, and getting served takes forever. Today I paid $3.56 for a small hot apple cider after waiting forever to get helped. Thats nearly $4 for a just under a cup of liquid that probably cost the coffee house about twenty cents. It was poured out of a gallon jug and marginally heated. Didnt taste like much - grocery store special and was only slightly warm. For nearly $4! My mistake though - I came back after an underwhelming experience over the weekend, simply because of the atmosphere. I had paid over $11 for a small, bland pasta salad without enough veggies, and a 12oz latte that tasted burnt. At my usual coffee spot the same order would have cost less than $8. There was live music and there are big tables, but even so, I should have known Id be disappointed by my return trip. Sadly, I wont be going to go back to C&P again.

Wish I had coffee shop like this within 5 min drive from my house! My wife and I took a random drive to Burien and West Seattle and ended up here based on my friends recommendation. Glad we did. Great barista! Trying to figure out what we wanted and seeing others order before and after us - barista knew locals and what they wanted, was super polite, asked about our day, etc. Then we just enjoyed our time there. Nice house! Relaxed atmosphere. Inside and outside seating. Great for chats, great for quietly working on a project on your laptop (free Wi-Fi), great for business chats/interviews. Id have local business meet up here (and they offer that as an option) instead of boring office space or rental room . Great coffee! Highly recommended!

We live in the neighborhood, so Id really Ike to love this place, but the large retiree crowd vibe, lighthouse beans (which are over roasted in my opinion) and costliness of this place (including $5 min for credit cards) make it one to avoid for me. Its small and quaint, and many folks like the Starbucks type burnt coffee taste, so judge for yourself. Im a coffee nerd, have a home espresso machine that I brew manually, so Ive checked out just about every shop in west Seattle and small batch roaster in the greater Seattle area. I greatly prefer RealFine coffee down near Trader Joes - its the only place south of lake union you can find Herkimer beans and they custom made their espresso machine in sodo. Also no credit card minimums...

Everyone here builds a sense of community. From the personal greetings and genuine conversations to the events that they host around music, poetry, literature, and political action. I have so much respect and gratitude for the owners and all of the amazing experiences they have fostered over the years. I have come to practice guitar with my wife, celebrated birthdays, studied for my masters, and just come to read a newspaper and relax. Also, they kick ass at making a tasty beverage with Lighthouse coffee!

What a lovely little place! My iced chai as delicious. There was a live band playing relaxing, upbeat music. The band in combination with the garden/laid back cafe atmosphere made me feel as if I had been transported outside of the city into a small town in Italy or France. Beautiful place! I will definitely be coming back. This is a wonderful place to escape the busy city-life of Seattle.

Real nice small coffee shop in west Seattle. They have live music very often. You can get the upcoming schedule off their website. This is a great place to go get a coffee, hot chocolate, beer or wine and sit down with some friends for a board game or two. They have a few pastries and small bites as well, but I dont find it the best place if your looking for more then a snack.

This is the best spot in Seattle, hands down. Great coffee in the morning, amazing people and a laid back place to read or have a conversation. this place showcases local art and artists by providing wall space and stage space. An awesome place to grab a glass of wine or a beer after the day is done and watch some live music. Many thanks for being who you are C&P!

Ive been everywhere, man, and this coffee shop left me impressed. Great coffee for $3 and 50¢ refills. Live music in the evenings and I noticed a beer and wine selection. The bathroom is nice too. Free WiFi and available electric outlets inside and out. Dog friendly and treats available. Its a cute little converted house. Well visit again if we stick around Seattle.

My favorite place to enjoy coffee with or without friends and with or without my dog. Charming and friendly service , with a cute yard area and short term parking in back . I love that they still carry almond flavored syrup for my latte. Its increasingly hard to find for some reason . Its the little things like this that makes me love it so.

I am new to the area and like this place because they are dog friendly! I love being able to bring my pooch inside and out of the rain. The coffee here is only average in my humble opinion, but I love the atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. Also, they dont take credit cards, so come prepared with cash in wallet.

All the reviews talk about what C and P Coffee looks like but it is the coffee that is the best thing about this place. You want a real latte that tastes like coffee and not some watered down version this is the place to go. And yes, the establishment is charming. Try it....you will love it.

I came by for the first time on a Sunday morning with the wife and we really enjoyed it. Croissants and coffee. How could you go wrong? Laid back feeling and a real "mom & pop" experience. Love that its a house where you can sit anywhere, even the backyard. its something Ive truly missed.

Lively. I like that they use actual dishes rather than just throw away cups as its more environmentally friendly. They often host events here, and they have free wifi. They charge $5 minimum if you use a debit/credit card and dont take American Express, so being some cash!

Lovely decor - very friendly staff. The menu seemed a little limited, if youre expecting a cafe, but perfectly adequate for a coffee shop. Small outdoor area in the back. Large outdoor space in the front. Plenty of seating indoors.
