Fantastic diner style quality breakfast. This is probably the best diner food Ive had in my life. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with a biscuit instead of an English muffin, and fries instead of hash browns. The fries were crispy, fresh (no old oil taste), super hot and salted to perfection. I didnt even touch the ketchup. The biscuit was perfectly soft and moist, the egg had a really rich tasting, bright yellow yolk, the hollandaise sauce and ham pulled it all together. My bestie had this incredible French toast swimming in butter. (I had to taste it, this is how I know.) The bread from the French toast was still fluffy and light so you know it wasnt just sitting somewhere sipping in butter for awhile. He also order this waffle topped with whipped butter. It was slightly crispy on the edges but mostly soft comfort in your mouth. On top of it all, the service was incredible. Our server greeted us with this warm, genuine (smiling with eyes) smile. She checked on us consistently and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Overall this place is a winner. The food, service and scenery was ideal for a rainy, lazy Saturday.

While this restaurant is great for dining in, its terrible for take-out. Any hot foods get thrown into a styrofoam container which cant withstand the heat and melts, blending in with your food. When asked if they would line the container with aluminum foil, I was told she would try, but "thats the way they serve the food." Apparently whoever was answering the phone doesnt realize that some people like their food without melted styrofoam. Again, let me emphasize, this is a great place to eat if you go in. All of the staff is very friendly and work their keisters off to serve efficiently.

This will probably become a favorite and frequented place for my husband and I. Great views, our waiters weve had are very friendly, seating is comfortable, and their fries are probably some of the favorite Ive ever had. Food is classic diner food and very good. No complaints other than I wish they were open for dinner on weekends.

Its alright. A little pricey for routine breakfast food, in my opinion. We got an order of scrambled eggs that tasted and smelled strongly of fish. We didnt order any fish, either. The waitress said, "we dont cook eggs in the same pans as the fish." Okay, but still. Overall, it seems like a place that elderly people would enjoy.

Have not tried their lunch and dinner menus but the breakfast is great. Service is friendly, it has that supported by regular/repeat customers sort of feel. Mostly booth seating, sort of a large diner kind of look and feel. Great view of the dock, quite a crowd on the weekends. Coffee is your run of the mill diner coffee....

$19.18 for a coffee and avocado bacon cheeseburger. Avocado was extremely watery. The onions and tomatoes tasted like Sysco. The hamburger itself wasnt edible in my opinion, had to have been frozen. I ended up eating the bacon by itself. Dissapointing, especially for the price.

I used to come here as a kid and its changed a little bit since then, things are a bit more expensive and everyone looks at you a little weird if youre not over 80 but its a nice place with a nice view and the food is pretty darn good but truthfully I kind of prefer Beths.

While the server was a bit ditzy, the food here was amazing. I got the Popeye omelet, and it was a really amazing omelet. The server also did bring a larger glass for water, when she noticed how fast I was drinking. Would definitely recommend.

Bay Cafe is a perfect American breakfast place. Food is tasty, fresh, seasonal choices, great fish, and always plenty. Service is friendly and fast. Prices are very reasonable. A walk around the fishing boats marina after a meal is a must!

I used to come here a lot back in the 90s. I just brought two friends for breakfast and it gained two new fans. Id been craving a seafood omelet and they are as good as they ever were. This is a great Sunday breakfast place.

Walked in and took a seat at the bar/counter. Prompt and friendly service. Ordered the salmon omelette which was delicious. Nice views of the marina given the large windows. Will be back again for sure.

Best breakfast spot on earth. Eat a classic breakfast in diner style booths while looking out eye level with all sorts of boats. They offer some good specialty breakfast items as well.

We can always walk in and get a seat (sometimes the counter). Diner food but a very efficient operation. 4.5 stars because their Coke and diet Coke taste like crap EVERYTIME.

Perfect eggs over medium, every time. My wife and I come for brunch on Saturdays frequently, they really do a great job--I highly recommend the corned beef hash skillet!

This place feels unchanged in a city that many feel is changing too quickly. Great spot for casual breakfast, can sometimes be hard to get a seat on the weekend.
