The Sinful Savant
The food is excellent. HOWEVER, the atmosphere is quite uncomfortable. The last 4 times we have gone here, the chef degrades his waitresses on how to do their job right. We never had a problem with any of their waitresses and their performance. For example, whenever we had asked for something extra (dressing, pickles, addition to the order, etc), the chef always blames her and belittles her on how she SHOULD have taken our order right in the first place or how she should say "Order In" on everything little thing otherwise its not his fault. We understand that he wants superior service to the customers, but he shouldnt raise his voice/degrade his waitresses in front of their customers. We always feel so terrible when we ask for something extra and our mood changes drastically when the chef does this. GREAT food, UNCOMFORTABLE atmosphere due to the chef talking down to his waitresses! Its not appropriate or professional!

We stop in often for breakfast and lunch. We stopped in this time for breakfast with some friends from out of town. They have changed the menu quite a bit recently and found some nice choices. My wife had the daily special which was a Kielbasa and eggs plate which was great, tasty and generous portion. I had the chicken, biscuit and eggs (Leons or something like that). It was huge and tasty. I could only eat half of it and was full, but the taste was great. Service was very good and prices are reasonable. Only downside is the seating is a bit limited. I recommend going there for the breakfast as it has great selection, quality and prices.

Been here twice in the last 12 months. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. First visit I had an omelette for brunch. Super tasty. It was crowded, but didnt take as long as we expected to get food. Today I had the spinach salad. Wow! The bacon dressing was great. It totally hit the spot. We were greeted promptly and food, again, came very fast even though the place was mostly packed. Will definitely come back next time were in the area.

My mother and I found this little gem on a whim. We were in town only for a couple hours to pick up goods for our travels. What we found was nothing short of perfection. Hands down one the greatest places I have EVER eaten in my life. We were both on the verge of joyful tears after our meal. Do not pass this place up. Its all authentic, from scratch and you will not beleive the prices. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Under new management, Jason, the owner and chef has transformed this small town diner into a more trendy restaurant that would be popular in larger cities, like Portland or Vancouver. The menu selections are limited to popular items but are complimented with a few daily specials. This restaurant is a great addition to the Ridgefield community. The quality of food and service is great.

Without a doubt some of the best food in Ridgefield, Love eating here. The staff is super-friendly and the food is above 5 stars, everything is made from scratch daily and it shows. Down sides being you order it, its made from stretch, it takes awhile. give yourself at least an hour for this fine dining experience!

Cinnamon rolls are sooo good! Breakfast was great everyone enjoyed their meal prices are reasonable. The Cafe is small do if you have a large group plan to wait during peak times.
