Very bad experience at Sonic today, normally a huge Sonic fan but unfortunately today resulted in major dissatisfaction. We arrived at Sonic to celebrate our sons good grades for his Second Grade tests. He wanted a slushy and hamburger. What better place than the slushy legends at Sonic. After my family and I decided what we wanted we pressed the button to make our order which was the following: 1) Kids meal hamburger (ketchup only) french fries and a small blue raspberry slush. 2) Pretzel bacon cheese dog, french fries, and a cherry Dr. Pepper. 3) Grilled Chicken Sandwich (minus mayo and tomato) add cheese, tator tots, and a 44 oz powerade slush. We waited approximately 15 min (which isnt necessarily a big wait except there were only 1 car visible to the right of us). Once the food arrived we exciting open our meals just to find what we ordered had severely been messed up. In comparison to the order found above, this is what we recievied: 1) Kids meal hamburger (EVERYTHING ON IT) french fries and small blue raspberry slush. 2) Pretzel bacom cheese dog (WITH SHREDDED CHEESE AND NOT THE ADVERTISED CHEESE SAUCE) french fries and cherry dr pepper. 3) Grilled Chicken Sandwich (EVERYTHING ON IT, NO ADDED CHEESE) tator tots and 44oz STRAWBERRY SLUSH. Not being satisfied with the mess up on the order, I respectfully requested the correct items, given mistakes sometimes happen I was not necessarily unhappy. We expected to have a quick response on our food so we anxiously waited for our corrected items. 10 min go by and 6+ cars go through drive through and still nothing. I finally went to the door and again asked where our food was as we had been sitting in the car for over 25 min and unable to eat. The manager came out and stated she would fix it. I waited yet another 10 min, cars continually going through drive through and finally a girl brings our food out. To add onto the dissatisfaction she hands me the bag, turns around and says "have a nice day" while walking away. No apologies or professionalism at all. My biggest flaw was the lack of customer courtesy and a matter of respect in general. If you mess up on an order, that should be a first priority to fix it and bring it out to the customer, not forget and the treat the customer like they are an inconvenience to the workers for having to fix our order. I pride myself as a respectful person as I had previously served in the Army for over 7 years before being medicall retired from injuries sustained in Afghanistan and focus on assuring I offer respect to all who I come into aquatence with.

Can I rate it 0 stars ?? This place is WAY BAD !! I work here but am seriously about to freakin quit. The manager is only a manager because her daddy is a higher up in the company. Then there are super young shift leaders who stand around on there phones and boss people around. They dont finish there shifts; they tell other managers to clock them out later. They take 45 minute breaks that are supposed to be 10 minutes and smoke weed, and vape around the work area. During late night shifts they bring there dogs in around the work area. So not sanitary. Your pay checks get shortened and are told it will be fixed but it wont. Car hops dont give exact change back; they keep it hoping the customer wont ask for it. Stealing from your customers is wrong. They get the food orders wrong most of the time and lots of food gets wasted. The main manager only hires females and its feminist and gross. Some employees I see dont even wash there hands, and then get back on the floor and cook food and make drinks. Some of the stupid shift managers dont even wear full uniform. I hope the owners are reading this. They make customers wait forever and give free food out hoping they wont get caught but even if they do its not like they will get in trouble because her daddy is the manager and she will do anything to protect her friends and tell her daddy it wont happen again but it will.Your company is gonna D I E in a whole. Is this where you want to bring your family to eat ? Try McDonalds, Im pretty sure they are much cleaner LMAO ... Never eat here and never work here.............. P.S. All you managers deserve to be slapped in the face.. a lot of yall are so ugly to so maybe that will eventually drive the customers into a McDonalds drive through haha !! K bye :)

I will NEVER go back here again!!!! We went through the drive-thru last night with only one car in front of us, & no one in the parking lot. Pulled up to order, told us to hang on, came back & asked us what we wanted & when we started to place our order, she told us to hang on yet again. Finally came back & took our order, leaving several items out as she read it back to us. We answered back if she had gotten the missing items, and she stated "yes". Pulled up to the window & paid, when she proceeded to hand us a bag. Not feeling confident with her abilities, we sat there and went through the bag in front of her since we figured there was no way shed squeezed 5 meals into one bag. Sure enough she shorted us 3 sandwiches, which our receipt proved wed paid for. Someone else came up to the window asking twice if we were missing 2 sandwiches, & we had to bark out "No three" twice. While we waited for the missing sandwiches we sat in disbelief as a male employee stood back behind the girl at the window; picking his nose several times in front of us & whiping it on his pants as if it was a natural thing to do at work around food. NEVER AGAIN! We were worried that the pickle may have consisted of something else at that point, I could tell he was a carhop. Beware of the bags they hand you! Disgusting!

I have been and will be a loyal customer to Sonics because of the many friendly experiences I have had with their staff. Staff that has gone above and beyond for me personally. I walked there once stoned with my friend who made sure to make faces at me during the order. Even though I had several giggling outbursts the staff remained patient with me. When the food arrived I realized we had ordered more than we had in cash, and my debit wasnt taking. Ashamed, I tried returning a few of the smaller items to make up the 5 dollars we were short. Despite me acting and sounding like an idiot, and the lack of money on hand, the lady delivering told me that they would have to throw out the food anyways if it was returned, and gave us the extra food free of charge. She didnt look at us with anger, or disgust, she treated us like valued customers even when our actions were to the contrary. That is why to this day I make sure to give them all the business I can. They have good food and good people working there, even if once in every four or five times your burger might as well have come in a diaper. But, really, its fast food, what burger joint isnt guilty of that anyways? Could not recommend enough.

I kept seeing TV commercials for Sonic Drive-In for a while before actually locating one nearby. At the time when I lived further north in Seattle, Puyallup was only somewhere we went once a year to the fairgrounds. But since moving to Kent in South King County, it is a lot closer, so we decided to check it out. It is pretty unique to be able to experience the classic old school drive up concept with employees on roller skates. They have some pretty interesting happy hour type pricing and a big menu with a large selection of shake flavors although the dont seem to be mixed that well and are quite thick, with pieces of fruit or topping that can clog up the straw, making then hard to drink. I think next time I will just get a sundae. Because of the Drive up concept, the wait times can be considerably longer than youre used to, and I cant say I was that impressed with the burger that I got that day, but they have a lot more on the menu I havent been able to try yet, so Ill give them another shot. Overall, the experience was good.
