The most consistently good coffee in Poulsbo. As you probably know the coffee quality at shops and stands can vary dramatically depending on who is pulling the shots that day. One morning the girl at your favorite stand is making heaven in a cup. The next morning a different girl is making you rethink your allegiances and maybe even has you reconsidering Starbucks. Because even though they suck they suck consistently. Starbucks doesnt take you on the emotional roller coaster of good coffee and then bad.They are just always bad. But I digress. Hot Shots is (almost) always good and they like it when you tell them when something seems to have changed or isnt as good as it was yesterday.

The staff is always nice and quick. The coffee is not my absolute favorite, but its very good. I cant eat the ice cream myself (allergic), but Ive been there with people who have and theyve all enjoyed it. There is more seating here, inside and out, than most the other coffee shops in the area. You can also bring your dogs inside. Downsides: shares a restroom in the back hall with the seafood restaurant so it smells terrible (like bathroom and old fish) in the hall and the womens restroom is VERY cramped and badly designed, and secondly the wi-fi can be really spotty at times.

The people at Hot Shots Java know that their coffee is good. But, just to remind everyone else that their stuff is top notch, they throw in a piece of chocolate with every drink. That dark and sweet sensation helps remind us that what you buy here is so much more than what your pitiful Keurig machine will spit out. The open atmosphere is very inviting as well. During the summer months, both large doors to the shop are open which basically connects the café to whats happening on the main strip of Poulsbo.

I ordered a milk shake and and specifically ordered whip cream but then they forgot the whip cream and normally that wouldnt be a big deal because everybody makes mistakes, but then we went back and asked for a spoon and the lady rolled her eyes and handed me the spoon without saying anything and was extremely rude

Great coffee, lots of tables, and cozy places to sit with a group. You pay a little more, but coffee is excellent. Need a treat for the kids they sell ice cream. There is a book exchange in the back my son loves. The java bean on the cup is a delicious touch.

A great little coffeehouse tucked into the downtown Hot Shots Java is a great place to sit and socialize. They have a wide selection of board and card games and the coffee is great. They also showcase local art and occasionally have live music.

This place is a nice alternative to big chain coffee shops. Plenty of seating and a nice reading area, free wifi. The coffee drinks are consistently good. Most employees are pleasant.

This is a cozy place with plenty of seating at tables or a sunken cushy sitting area for a more intimate or private conversation. I had a Pumpkin Chai Tea and it was delicious.
