If you want authentic home-style food from Korea, this is the place to get it in Thurston County. The food is incredibly flavored, the side dishes are exquisite, and the service warm and endearing. I went with my three daughters and all of us not only had more than we could finish eating, but were all deeply pleased by the flavor profiles and methods of preparation. One bite and we knew the cook was a good-natured, loving human being. The soup was also comforting and took us right away back to Seoul. A key element was that over half of the guests were Koreans, and as someone from a foreign country, I can attest that we only patronize establishments who prepare our own food if it is exceptionally prepared. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will be a frequent patron.

Delicious food and quick service...definitely coming back!! Update: the last time we went, it was a slow Sunday, and they got our order and food prepped quickly. The food was very good, so we looked forward to eating there again, and decided to drop by after running some errands. We got there right about 7:30, on a busy Saturday night. They had 2 people waiting on 12 tables. three tables after we sat down were serviced. One got their food, and we still hadnt had our order taken. All 3 tables serviced, conveniently, looked Asian. There were other two tables (non-asian), that were there before us, who didnt have food on their tables-still waiting! We got up and left after waiting for 1/2 an hour. Were now driving back to Seattle...so disappointed

I ordered the house fried rice. It had beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp. It was amazingly delicious. I also ordered the fried dumplings, which were amazing. The portions are big. They also brought out small side dishes with vegetables and sauces. I liked some (like the potatoes), while others were a bit to bitter for me (the radish dishes). The prices were good. Next time Im going to try one of their sizzling bbq dishes. Another customer ordered one. It was brought out on a stone plate, the meat was still sizzling, and the aroma was wonderful.

Total disappointment! After a week of researching and planning for my BDAY lunch to be here, we walked in on a Saturday filled with anticipation only to be shot down at every turn. We attempted to order 4 very common/traditional Korean dishes, plus a beer and they didnt have any of it! Before we attempted any further, we were out the door and found the perfect place for authentic Korean just down the street. Never returning here.

This place is so good! I came here with my husband and the woman working there was very welcoming and took the time to help us pick out some good food. I got the spicy soup with beef and vegetables and my husband got the spicy pork, both were absolutely delicious! It also came with an abundance of side dishes which were also excellent. We will be coming here again.

The staff here are wonderful and love kids. We always bring our kids here and they love the food. The little appetizer dishes (that come by default) are great for getting kids (and grownups too) comfortable with Korean food. The food is delicious! Bulgogi and Bibimbap are my favorite things there.

This place is amazing. I have never had Korean food before and cant imagine a better first experience. I went with people who have been to Seoul Korean and they said it reminded them of Seoul. Look forward to going back in the future.

The food is fantastic, we have kalbi, soondubu, bibimbap. Very high quality. The place is not suave and the hostess/table buser/cashier lady isusually very busy, but wait times are short. Price is good compared to similar restaurants

Good authentic Korean food. I just came back from a two year tour in Korea, the food at Seoul Restaurant tasted just like the stuff they had there. The Price is a little high though, paid less than 6 bucks per meal back in Korea.
