Fun facts first. It was a Thursday morning (this morning) after the "rush". I wanted something more than Dennys / IHOP. Lo and behold, B3 Breakfast & Burger Bar is located adjacent to Dennys in Lynnwood on 196th. Talk about awkward! The parking situation mustve been drama because theres more than ample signage indicating that basically state, "Park your whip here for B3, we dare you, because were gonna tow your $H!T." Ok, point taken, I parked in an appropriate stall. I was greeted right away considering I was the 4th patron in there. The usual smiles, and standard line of questioning. Before I knew it, hot coffee in front of me, glass of water, clean silverware, and a menu. Ive been conducting a years long vertical tasting of country fried steaks of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. A grip surprised to not find it on the menu, albeit disappointed too. I understand being a diner that I have previously advised to avoid the "specials" due to a litany of reasons. If you know me, then you know I ordered the special: shrimp omelette with hollandaise sauce and homefried potatoes. Tasty cakes! In the mood for something more than average - post up at B3 Breakfast B4 you do at big chain restaurants. See what I did there? los;out

The food here is pretty tasty, I had the daily special of cinnamon roll french toast. I expected it to be standard french toast made with some sort of cinnamon swirl brioche bread, but instead I got two cinnamon rolls that were battered and pan-fried. YUM! They came with butter, syrup, and bacon, for a very decadent and satisfying breakfast. This would have been a 5-star experience, except this place charges $3 for rather average bagged tea, and service was super slow. Like they took my order quickly, and I got my food surprisingly quickly, but then it got busy and it took forever to get my check and then have them come back to take my card. I was so bored of sitting there I almost considered a dine and dash, although given how long I had waited, I think thats less of a dash and more of a meander. Ill probably go back because the brunch options in Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood are pretty dismal, but I sure do wish the tea was better or cheaper.

Never had to wait too long for a table, the food is pretty good as far as burgers go. Overall its a great place, the only thing that keeps us from going there very often is that its small and they definitely found every way to cram tables in there. This typically results in practically sharing a table with the people next to you. Imagine two 2-person tables right next to eachother. Now its a 4 person table and Debbie wont stop talking about her booming etsy shop. I dont go out to eat to socialize with strangers next to me, I go out to eat to enjoy the company of the people I chose to go with. Bumping elbows with the person next to me while reaching for the ketchup isnt the most comfortable of dining experiences.

Food was ok. Lacking in the flavor dept. Got the chicken and waffles, needed salt, all made from scratch stuff, just nothing amazing. Given the price, I was expecting more overall. Service was ok, she didnt talk much and was short. Parking/Pulling into the lot can be a challenge and should be pre-planed. This was my second visit, unimpressed the first time when it opened a few years ago, unimpressed again. Signs everywhere about the homemade sangria, I dont need to see it everywhere I look, just tell me about it. Atmosphere was great, food and service could use a revisit. $3.50 for a fountain drink is ridiculous.

I have not previously published any reviews of places to eat. My previous favorite is closing up shop, and now that I live in Lynnwood I have noticed a rather sparse offering of places to eat that are not chain restaurants or severely ethnocentric (i.e. A. Zimmerman fodder). I wanted a better than average breakfast place in Lynnwood. Searched around and found B3. Stopped by right when they opened on a Sunday morning (7am), and was very happy with the menu, the food and the service. I plan on going back for dinner to sample one of their burgers. B3 is a breath of fresh air for Lynnwood. Give it a visit.

Great place for breakfast in Lynwood. Ambience is nice with a sort of mix between country and modern vibe.. service is fast and attentive.. the food is excellent.. good parking in a building that looks great from the road.. the only thing is it is an open floor type seating arrangement and when people get talking it gets loud .. you sort of struggle to have a conversation over all the other conversations... but that is barely anything to complain about... that and pricing being a tad high lost the 5th star... but I still come here every day for breakfast when I visit Lynwood sooooooooo

Well one time was all I needed never going back. First off I did not notice until my breakfast my breakfast was served and I went to unfold my napkin that it had already been used. When I informed "the very young waitress" of this, she said, oh sorry and walked away. The potatoes were mushy, the eggs nothing to boast about and the sausage were under cooked. Should have gone to Dennys next door, folks its breakfast. I will never go back, about to try Strickers which is just over a block or so I will let you all know. Dont waste your hard earned money at B3, youll be sorry.

Food? Ok, maybe a bit larger portion than Dennys, but that is about it. Problem is the seating. They wanted to seat me at a table not meant for one even and which would also find you elbow to elbow with the guests next to you. I asked to seat in an open booth (of which there were plenty and no line at all) and the gal says those are normally for a larger party. I asked if I should go next door to Dennys to which she then sat me. But she made sure to tell her co-workers loud enough for me to hear that I had an attitude. Attitude now is to find another place. ...

Incredible breakfast...but too bad I didnt get to enjoy it today and probably never again! If you are a single diner, you may not get seated if a party of 2 comes in while you have been waiting. They get priority. Or perhaps because I was black...who knows. Terrible policies and discriminatory business practices . Black vs white, single vs double? Not a good move. Anywhere you sit 2, you can sit 1. Mathematically you would turn that table faster and likely make more money...and your staff more tips. I enjoyed it while it lasted...never again!

Stopped in for breakfast as Id seen this place driving by and needed to kill time. Food came out fast and just as ordered. Granted I didnt get anything too sexy however I did special order since all the portions seemed bigger than I needed. Seems like this is a good spot and maybe the thing that holds them back is operational? Gal that seated me apologized for (non-existent) wait and said they were short handed. Feels like she feels behind the curve already at 8:20am and I confess that energy influenced this review. Ill come back for sure.
