Ive eaten here a few times before and the food was good, the fries are delicious but this time I ordered the French Dip, the sandwich was wrapped in paper so tightly that the paper ended up inside the sandwich and I spent 10 minutes trying to pick the greasy paper out before giving up on the sandwich altogether. Ive never had a sandwich come out wrapped up like a burrito because the bread was soaked in grease. When I got into the sandwich, the bread was burnt and black inside and tasted like burnt toast when I did try to eat it. Im not sure if Ill be back after spending $13 on lunch to not even get to eat more than a couple of bites of the sandwich. The owner or manager really needs to make it clear to his/her employees that burnt inedible food should not be served because they are too lazy to remake a sandwich.

Judging by the outside and inside appearance of this place, I would have rather went somewhere else, but we ate here and Im so glad that I did. They had my favorite burger that most burger places dont have, as well as a pretty diverse menu for a "burger joint". Upon our food arriving, I took one bite of my garlic fries and declared that these were THEE BEST FRIES I had EVER had; literally better than any other fries Ive had anywhere in my life. My husband had regular fries and they were just as amazing. The burger was also delectable. I can not give this place enough praise. I will definitely be going back and recommending. I did get pretty gassy later on, but thats what happens when you eat that much garlic!

Love to stop here for lunch after a ferry trip from Edmonds to Kingston. "The Burg" with fries is a favorite but there are lots of good hamburger choices in the family friendly local establishment. Interior is a mash-up of Hawaiian and caribbean influences. A single unisex bathroom might require a wait but sit at a booth or the eating bar and enjoy the vibe. No alcohol on site so get a homemade chocolate malt. Take a gander at their fun looking food truck so you can recognize it at local events!

Best Darn Burger this side of the Sound! Im very salt-sensitive and can almost never eat out anywhere because of how much salt restaurants use to make their food taste better. I always get "The Burg" here and you can actually taste the meat! Its not just a "salt burger"! And I can opt for the cole slaw instead of fries. Dont be put off by the exterior. I was looking for a big fancy gourmet burger place. But this little gem will pleasantly surprise you!

We were attracted by the quirky name, (that and its the only restaurant that you can actually FIND in Kingston) and thought wed give it a try. WOW! I had a Cuban sandwich and it was one of the most unique and delicious things I have eaten in years. Loved it! Serving sizes are ample and the staff was friendly and kind. It was a cool place to eat - cant wait to return. Perhaps Ill make a trip just for that....

This place is great! amazing burgers (I usually get the Bojo), great milkshakes (lots of flavors to choose), and seasoned fries! Been here a few times, and it always delivers! For the spice-lovers theres a tiny hot sauce bar too. The only complaint I have is that the bamboo door to the only tiny bathroom is a little annoying. Skip the mcdonalds across the street and come here!

Definitely one of our favorite places to go when were craving burgers, sandwiches, fries and/or fun flavored shakes. We drive here from Bainbridge and its worth the drive. We always leave satisfied. Bonus: the kiddies get their meals for $5; it comes with an entree, side and a refillable drink. Fun fact: each table (and counter seating) has a different salt and pepper set.

We absolutely love this place. I suggest you get the garlic fries instead of regular fries. This place has the best burgers or sandwiches. Basically everything on the menu is amazing. The prices are very reasonable especially because its really worth it. The tables are sometimes still sticky and dirty but the food makes up for it.

For a family of 5 to get our food within minutes and everything to be fresh hot and taste amazing is so rare to find. This is truly a gem if youre ever getting off the ferry in Kingston you should stop here. The food is authentic and has amazing flavor no matter what weve eaten and the people here are so nice you wouldnt believe it.

If you havent been here, youre seriously missing out! I passed this restaurant trying to make the Kingston ferry I dont know how many times, and once I finally had the time to go in and try it, I couldnt believe that I didnt go in to eat sooner! Wish I could have The Grub Hut where I live!

Grub Hut burger with Gorgonzola and a chocolate shake, thats all you need. Me and my bros rolled in on a flannel Friday and destroyed some of the best burgers we have ever had. The atmosphere, employees, food, and hot sauce selection are amazing! Ill be back #mosdef #gyminnearfuture

First time stopping in and Ill definitely be back! We were in the area to bid a job and had our dog with us and it was too warm to leave him in the car. Our usual spot down the street said no dogs on the deck but Grub Hut said he was welcome on the patio. Glad we stopped in!

This place is focused on detail. Love their burgers. Homemade veggie burger is great. They also have generous sides and reasonable prices. And the people are nice. Way more than your typical burger place. I take friends here for dinner who are visiting Kingston.

I could not eat my burger because theyre was a deep black coat of old grease dripping off my burger. The reason this coat of old black grease was on the patty is because this place has not cleaned their grill in who knows how long. Please, deep clean your kitchen.

Way to busy mid afternoon on a weekend. My fries had that old grease flavor. My buns on the mushroom burger was soaked in grease and mushroom juice. My malt wasnt mixed well and half melted. Theyve gone downhill from the pass. Employees all stressed out.

Absolutely best gourmet burgers ever for very reasonable prices: grass-fed beef, lots of topping options, and a side of your choice such as fries, slaw, chili, or an apple. They also serve other food options and offer a wide variety of shake flavors.

Great burger joint right beside the ferry terminal. Hamburgers were juicy and cooked correctly. They dont scrimp on the extras. Fries were crispy and tasty. We watched them make thick shakes, though I didnt order one. Definite place to revisit.

We stopped for lunch here while on vacation in Seattle. It was the best cheeseburger Ive ever had. Be careful though because they are messy. It was quick and the guy behind the register was friendly even though were obviously tourists.

I ordered the Hangover Helper and my husband ordered the Cubano. My burger was good and my husband thought his Cuban was one of the best hes ever had. Atmosphere is chill and quaint. Worth the ferry trip over. Will do it again
