EDIT 7/14/2016 - Got a call from the new manager. Very polite professional guy. He totally understood the facts and made no excuses. Heard the story again, and we worked it out. Based on my interactions with him, Id be happy to return to this shop again. ------------------------------------------ I had been a loyal customer. Heres what happened last... Bought 10.5 lbs TRIMMED Kobe Brisket. Got home, and had to trim 5.5 lbs. of fat off the brisket. I literally threw away $75 worth of fat off of a $150 TRIMMED (supposedly) brisket. I didnt get mad, I wasnt impolite. I went back to them, explained it, showed a picture of the pile of fat, and purchased a few New York steaks to shore up as I was going to be short on meat. I only asked that they contact me to work something out for the fact that I didnt exactly get a right product for my money. Even the manager agreed, upon looking at the photo, that this was not OK. He said the owner would call me. They took my number. All I wanted was a $60 in-store credit, explaining that I wouldnt be upset if I had to touch up a trimmed brisket to the tune of 1 lb of fat, but not 5.5 lbs... thats not unfair or unreasonable, right? One week later, no one called. I called them and left a voicemail. Its now been 3 weeks, and no one has called. I walked in today and was told, "owners got your number, but hes busy". So, here is the review... There are enough butcher shops that I can easily go elsewhere. They wont see me again.

This hard to miss shop located on Juanita Drive south of Bothell Everett Hwy, is easily the best unknown spot in Kenmore. It offers a nice lunch menu with fresh ground hamburger and other meats. I had the butcher burger which came with a perfectly cook burger with the baked beans. The burger was perfect, well-seasoned and very filling. The beans tasted good, but were undercooked. One of my companions had the New York strip sandwich and she enjoyed it as well. They are also a full service butcher with high quality cuts and homemade sausage. Their meats were reasonably priced.

Used the Groupon a few weeks ago, was impressed with the selection of smoked meat products to chose from. Picked up a rack of ribs, brisket and some pork belly then made the mistake of taking a look in the front case and ended up with a pound of the most amazing bacon Ive ever tasted. Jumped back in the car to take the treasure home and only made it 2-blocks before I found myself reaching around in the sack to find a little nibble for the road. That was 4-5 weeks ago and Im still dreaming about their products.

Service was great and the butcher was very friendly. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries and a drink for $10. The brisket was by far the most magnificent I have ever had the privilege of consuming! Im not a horseradish fan but the horseradish based sauce was absolutely amazing! This brisket sandwich has everything you could ever want in a sandwich! Plus the portions are more than generous! If I could give 10 stars this establishment would get it. Keep up the amazing job guys!

Place has gone downhill.....I guess they specialize in DOG FOOD and bones now. I asked for tenderloins and was told they do not have case space anymore.....the problem with this explanation is the entire left case was empty! Sorry to say but this place is not worth stopping at anymore save yourself the frustration end of story.

went for lunch, they have 4 menu items, burger, pulled pork, steak and cheese, and i forget the last item, but my wife and i had 50/50 burgers (beef/lamb) and they were great. got a rib eye to take home and it was awesome... great price for what it is..

This guy takes all the fun out of BBQ. Whats up with all the different prices depending on how you are paying. Top it off with poor customer service gonna try the shop in woodinville next.

I loved the Kobe Burger with Blue Cheese sandwich I had here and the service is awesome. Do drop by and enjoy a long and quiet lunch if you have the time. Its very quaint and cool here.

Been shopping here for years. Only place around this area that sells raw milk. Their eggs are high quality too. Their selection of organic meat is smaller than it used to be.

Best meat in the area. Prices are slightly higher than the grocery store, but the quality is well worth it. Sandwiches are great too. This is a must stop place for any meal!
