My omelette was good, but dishonest business practices drop this 4-star review down to a 2-star one. Allow me to elaborate: They serve pisswater and try to pass it for "pancake syrup." It tastes awful and the only solace you can take is that they didnt at least try to pretend it was Maple Syrup ha! But thats not why Im leaving a negative review. Heres where things get shady: A LOT of restaurants avoid selling real Maple Syrup to avoid the cost. However, Crystal Creek wait staff push the lie that this specially made in-house developed pisswater substitution is because customers dont want real Maple Syrup. Obviously there is enough demand to charge retail customers $40/gal at the grocery store so either your logic that people dont want it is faulty, or youre lying to avoid admitting that you dont want to bear the cost. I dont think youre incapable of reason, I think youre lying. LOOK AT YOUR CLIENTELE! Do you think the Canyon Park customer base cares about an extra $1 for the real deal? If no real syrup, then at least admit youre cutting corners. Say "We dont serve Maple Syrup here" or "We cant get Maple Syrup." Its the dishonesty that doesnt sit well with me. You can feed Bothell BS, you can feed Bothell BS and call it pancake syrup, but when you feed Bothell BS, call it pancake syrup, and outright LIE about why you feed people BS to cover your self-serving greed - thats where I draw the line.

Pros: big menu with lots of options and fairly good portion size. Cons: Long wait, overworked servers, order messed up. Today was my first time in to the cafe, and I dont feel the need to go back, again. They were SLAMMED, understaffed, and it took 15 minutes for anyone to let me sit at the counter. Seriously, every time I offered to seat myself at the counter, each waitress said, "Oh, someone will be with you shortly." Finally had an intelligent server say it was ok for me to sit ... just before I was about to leave. I ordered my omelet without onions. Though the omelet didnt have onions inside, it was slathered with salsa on top. Mildly annoying. But the food was tasty and I really liked the pumpkin pancakes. Still, for a simple order, the bill came to $20. Overpriced for what youre getting.

There is no question that the Crystal Creek Cafe is without doubt, the best restaurant in the Bothell area. And because it is part of a chain I can truly say that it is the best chain in Western Washington. At each restaurant the staff have no comparison in service and friendliness. The quality of the food both in flavor and portions have no comparison. The pricing is also most reasonable considering the portion sizing you receive. You also have the option of ordering a 1/2 size serving and trust me it is a very nice serving. The only regret I have for this restaurant is submitting this review because it will mean more people visiting this cafe, making the wait time a little longer. Thank you Mike

The atmosphere is cozy with a 1940s theme while waiting for your food you can look at "exhibits" of memorabilia from the WWII era.Rosie the Riveter adorns one wall while large aeroplane hangs form the ceiling. In line with the decor the food as well is quite good. Old fashion shakes where you get the extra that wouldnt fit in the glass in the mixing cup. the menu changes with the seasons to incorporate fresh produce and such. If your looking for take out they also will prepare your food and you can just swig by and pick it up. I dine there once or twice a month,. Prices are reasonable.. not too steep. I recommend taking home a cinnamon roll.. they are dinner plate size and so good..

We waited over 30 minutes for breakfast on a regular day - when the food arrived, the eggs were underdone and the bacon tasted like it had been around for a few days. We decided to just go and did not want to pay. The service was not good and when we complained at the front (no one brought us a bill) the cook in the back stood there with his or her (could not tell which one it was) hands on hips and glowered at us. My son and his gal friend went there a few weekends ago and had to actually get up and leave because they only had half an hour to spare and the food did not arrive in time. What is the problem here? The Woodinville Cafe is run by the same people and it is always good.

Ok so Ive written a review for the Saw Mill in Mill Creek because I go there a lot. I like to eat local instead of chains and wouldve missed this gem if it didnt have a different name. So clever of them! Each, while similar in decor and menu, does seem to have a different feel. Im a counter fan and early seems to be the ticket to avoid the wait. The staff here is especially engaged. The gal at this counter asked if I wanted onions in with the hash browns and extra bacon. She keeps the cream trash picked up and doesnt drown me in coffee. Highly recommend these restaurants in fact, I may commit to trying them all!

I enjoy this cafe. Ive been coming here for around a decade. The food is generally good and Ive never had a bad experience though sometimes it can be slow to get food to the table. Going on a Sunday morning is asking for trouble as that seems to be their busiest time of the week. You can expect to wait up to an hour for a table on a Sunday. The decor is a throwback to the 50s and 60s (at least that is my impression) but done tastefully. This is a small chain as there are other Cafes of this type in cities nearby but this one is still my favorite.

Visiting Crystal Creek Cafe on Easter Sunday was an overall good experience. There was an acceptable wait of around 10 minutes and the staff were extremely friendly, although they could be a little more attentive as it took some time for my water to be refilled. The food service was prompt and while the pancakes, California scramble, bacon and bloody Mary were all excellent, the breakfast quesadilla was unfortunately very sub-par and should be avoided.

The food was great, which is why Ive given it 2 stars. However, I think the place was understaffed, so that I can understand, but the staff was so rude and short with us. I got the impression that we were annoying the people waiting on us, especially the man who seemed in charge. We had to ask three different people for one thing and one of the waitresses gave my aunt a dirty look as she walked away. I dont think Ill bee coming back.

They were extremely accommodating to our party of 14. The server was excellent and the food was great. Our only disappointment was that they did not have pumpkin pie, and it was only days before Thanksgiving; this came as a complete surprise to us, as they bake all of their goods right there at that location. That being said, the pies they did have were great and the crusts were fantastic. We look forward to going back.

Great breakfast spot in Bothell! The omlettes are loaded with fresh ingredients, and the pancakes are some of my favorite. However, some menu items are a bit pricey for what you get. For example, a waffle with strawberries on top served a la carte is around $10 and its $4 to add a side of eggs. The bar serves good snacks and cocktails (on top of full menu), complete with a loaded bloody Mary. Also has daily happy hour.
