Patio Coffee Shop is a favorite of locals. Its not fancy, but its comfortable and the people are always friendly, staff and patrons alike. I appreciate that its one of a kind and not a knock-off of every other coffee shop around. Parking on 25th can be dicey at shopping hours, but theres always plenty on the side streets. The restaurants and retail shops here project a similar idiosyncratic but quality character. 25th Avenue is one of San Mateos oldest and most genuine neighborhoods, with a warm ambience that reflects the homeyness of this part of town.

Went there expecting a good meal came out with buyers remorse this was by far the worst meal I ever had in my life. I would never go back to this place again. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet there was little to no ham and the portions were lacking and it tasted heavily of alcohol and the coffee was terrible. To top it off the service was lacking as well. I dont understand how these people are still in business with such terrible food. oh well maybe I just went on a bad day but Ill never try again I hope other people have better luck.

Tiny, friendly place along 25th Ave. I had blueberry crepes that were light, filled with berries, and topped with powdered sugar and cream cheese. My husband had an omelette loaded with toppings. Both of us (unnaturally) raved about the side of potatoes. There is something special, but we couldnt put our finger on it. They make our decision to return guaranteed!

This is a fairly average diner. The service was pretty good, but the food is fairly nothing special. Ive only tried a couple of the breakfast dishes. If I were in the area looking for breakfast, I would go here, but I wouldnt go out of my way for it.

This is a great little place. I just happened to be in the area and stopped in for coffee. Very glad I did. Its small but cozy and the owner was very nice. The omelette and macchiato were great.

Best location!!! Always so convenient when I go. Always fast and perfect drinks. I can elaborate on 1 experiences. Ordered Butter Beer and they nailed it! Perfection. I highly recommend that!
