Everybody says this place is bomb so we finally decided to try it this Sunday when we didnt feel like cooking. It was a mistake to say the least. We ordered take out as we wanted to eat at home. Right out of the box some of the items didnt even look that great but we were hungry and wanted to give a fair shake. Mash potatoes appeared pasty and so did the mac and cheese. Looks were not deceiving in this case. Potatoes were hella dry and tasted like they were made that morning at best. I would rather eat the dried box mash potatoes and Kraft mac and cheese. The chicken was not even warm and had no flavor whatsoever. I would rather have chicken from Albertsons or Safeway any day. Rolls and beans were good but not mind blowing or anything. So we called to complain today and they really dont care about customer service at all. We were told that we should have brought all the food back and that they couldnt do anything for us because we did not bring back the food. The basically said that people try to scam them for free food so they wont do anything for us cause we ate it. Rediculous! We were not asking for a refund, we just wanted something to be done and for someone to care. We asked to speak to the manager and we got the "I am the manager" routine. When asked to talk to the owner we were told that he wasnt there and that they also refused to leave him a message and basically said "good luck" trying to get a hold of him. I feel kinda bad saying that I hope they go out of business. But with this kind of food, service and attitude they will do all the work themselves. Wonder what will be the next business to move into that space? Save yourself the headache, disappointment, frustration, and overall unpleasant life experience. Tell your friends too! Businesses have no idea how quickly bad news can spread. Too bad you cannot leave zero stars....

I ordered from Heaven Sent, through Eat 24hrs for over$120.00 because it was a $100.00 minimum for delivery. At first, a lady called me and told me that Heaven Sent could not deliver my order because she claimed that their were no delivery drivers. So I told her that it was fine as long as I am not charged. About fifteen minutes later, she called me back and told me that the owner will be personally delivering my order. What I should have said to her was, "No, thank you!" But, instead, I said, "Fine!" Which I regretted, because that mess was not worth the $120.00 that I paid for it. Then he had the nerve to say to me that the woman who called me said that I had "SPECIFICALLY" "ASKED for him!!"...ANYWHO!!...That food was a MESS!...The chicken was over cooked, with mostly, dried up chicken breast, with the back and neck still attached to it!...The gizzards was too chewy!....The collard greens was dead, and bitter, and it was cooked with cigarette butts! Then, the Afro American told me that he gave me a medium size order of collard greens, instead of the large size order that I requested and paid for. But, you know what?!!...Im SO thankful for the medium size order of collard greens! YUCK!!...The only thing that I thought was really good was the baked beans! The macaroni and cheese was so-so. So was the sweet potato pie, and the dinner rolls...And the potato salad was just as bad as the collard greens! With those minced potatoes anddill pickles made the salad nasty!... I will think twice before ordering from from their trifling asses again! Because my overall experience with Heaven Sent was not a peaceful enjoyment for me. They wanted me to pick up the order that was supposed to be delivered to me, and when they did deliver my order, it was a WHACK JOB!...No, thank you!!

The TV commercial was great! The Everett location was not up to standards even close to the advertised commercial. The first clue was the place was empty, with enough chicken fried and stacked to feed 50 people waiting for someone to order. I ordered french-fries as my side order, our dinner was held for the fries to be cooked, another little red flag. I went to the restroom to wash up and the smell was of chemicals and urine. the paper towel holder was broke so you had to pull the paper off the roll, which led me to believe the cooks didnt need to pull the paper off because they likely didnt wash their hands, not sure but it was a good indication. coming out of the restroom, looking at the main dining area, the ceiling was in bad shape with loose debris coming loose and other nasty looking stuff. the food was unremarkable, I ordered the original chicken, my wife ordered the same along with the sweet potato pie. the chicken skin was overcooked and dry due to sitting too long. the meat was moist and tasted good as any chicken void of spice would taste. the meal came with a pre-packed bag of ketchup and salt. another clue, when they cant leave ketchup, salt, pepper or other condiments out due to homeless people taking it all. the chairs and tables are bolted down and void of napkins and other items that can be taken by local homeless people. The sweet potatoes pie received a good thumbs up from my wife. We were hoping this would be a great place to stop by and have a great meal, however we will not be back. its puzzling how such a great commercial on TV can be reflected with such a poor hole in the wall food chain.

Our very first time coming to your store, (Everett location) as we entered the store, the gal behind the counter didnt even look up, didnt greet us, in fact she looked uncomfortable that people were approaching her counter. Im glad we didnt have any questions, because she wasnt going to be any help at all. Good thing the menu was pretty self explanatory. She became friendly once we were ready to order, but we had no idea that there was a choice of spicy, reg. or that you could mix and match and then she was annoyed that she had to explain it. Once ordered, we went to find a table, which EVERYONE was dirty!!!!!!! I picked the cleanest one and wiped it off myself. Then I decided to use the restroom, really? How disgusting! I understand that a place of business gets busy, but the restroom is a huge thing to keep clean. There were paper towels all over the floor, the toilet looked as if it hadnt been clean for months, the floors looked like they were cleaned but all the dirt was pushed in the corners. The floors, the ceilings the walls, everything had old dust build up that now is dirt that is so thick, it would take a hot steamer to get it off! There are spider webs with dust build up on them. You really need to clean your shop. I`m surprised the health department hasnt shut you down! The only thing I can say nice about you is your chicken is good, and your rolls are very tasty. But I did worry about getting food poisoning because your place is so dirty! Clean it up or we wont be back !

Ezell is a great salesman, coming across with his warm, enthusiastic presentation of his three Heaven Sent Fried Chicken stores, the one closest to me in Everett, WA. I stopped by to try the gizzards. I love gizzards. They were chewy tough, not at all the way I like gizzards. But then, viewing another of Ezells evangelic pitches for his chicken, with all that personality and sincerity, I made another trip to Heaven Sent in Everett. I tried asking the attendant about Ezell. She seemed rather disinterested, even reluctant to make eye contact. A few other questions were met with no eye contact and a rather disinterested attitude. I purchased a couple of thighs, mashed potatoes and cole slaw. They were acceptable but certainly not filling me with eagerness to return. I wonder if the attitude of the attendant had something to do with my reaction to the product? Could be. More training needed for those working there? Yep, I expect so.
