One of my friend recommended this place and showed me the menu. it was impressive so I went with my father who is a little tough customer and specific about what he wants :-). To my surprise, my dad loved the food. He was praising all along while we were at the restaurant and even after coming back. I was stunned with all the dishes. It was soo tasty. This will be one of our favorite restaurant and cant wait to take my wife there now. The place is nicely decorated, with correct light setting and cozy. If you are planning to spend a nice weekend dinner with your spouse, this will be it. They can make from mild to Indian hot (i mean real indian/pakistani hot). They will even ask you if you want green or red pepper and pepper type. The service was simply awesome. The chef who is also the restaurant owner was too nice and he comes and meet everyone in the table and gives special attention. The waitress were no less. You might wonder why the food is very tasty and I heard from my friend that chef makes everything from the scratch not made in the afternoon or previous day. Every dish has its unique flavor and taste.. and it is not like same type curry.. Lastly all the 4 dishes, bread came at the same time in perfect warm condition. I cant wait to go there now again.

Came here for brunch with my father. The manager and head chef, Shizhad (?), greeted us in a very friendly fashion, and made us feel at home. We engaged in conversation with not only him, but the staff as well. It is evident that they are genuinely concerned about the experience of their customers. The decor and background music is authentic, soothing, and greatly enhances the middle eastern atmosphere. Dont get me started on the food. The appetizers gave us an immediate impression on the quality and authenticity of the kitchens cooking. They were delicious, and when the main courses came out (kebab and curry), we were blown away. I did not expect the level of quality, taste, and presentation that was on the table before us. Shizhad was telling us that he had traveled to 32 countries to learn their dishes and flavors, and it was evident in his cooking. This restaurant will be one of the most memorable aspects in our trip through Seattle.

I cant believe how good the food was here! Youd never guess from the unassuming outside, but its a charming little place with good, friendly service and amazing quality. My 2 friends and I were here for lunch today, and dined mostly on appetizers. The Samosas are wonderful, made a bit piquant with a tamarind glaze on top. the hummus and pita were very good, but even better was the warm borchst, Persian salad, and wonderful Russian blintz. I also had a beet, yogurt and mint dip that was excellent despite its flourescent pink color (natural from the mix of beet and yogurt). My friend had the cabbage rolls and they were good too, though very different tasting from the rest of the dishes. Portions were good, as were prices. It was just a lovely little surprise. Theyve only been open since March 2010. So many things to choose from here. We are so glad we found this place - soon well go back to try the Indian dishes!

Caravan Kebab has definitely become my favorite restaurant over the past year! I know lots of restaurants that are great, but this place has been really excellent every time Ive had take out or dined in. There are so many different dishes to choose from-from cuisines stretching from the coast of Africa to the Mediterranean to India and Persia-and the chef and cooks are maestros at their craft. Its usually quiet; with the quality of the food I would expect it to be bustling, but it doesnt face the street, so youll have to keep an eye out for it. Staff are friendly, too, and I love the decor. Its such a cute place, and I think its great for a variety of occasions. Definitely my #1 recommended spot in all of Edmonds, and probably the whole Seattle area as well!

Weve been there for Saturday night dinner on our friends recommendation and we were not disappointed. Its little bit tricky to find the entrance but once you got inside, its cozy and comfy. We ordered Haandi Curry and Paidaka. Both the dishes were well cooked and flavored with decent portion size. I asked the curry to be as much hot as they can make, but it was kinda mild to my taste. So, if you are from south-east Asia and like spicy food, go for the highest level. We finished the dinner with Hot Kashmiri Chai and it was one of the best chai I ever had! The restaurant is clean, well managed and the staffs are very well behaved. We will surely go back there for another mind blowing experience.

Definitely my go-to restaurant for Mediterranean/Middle Eastern/Indian food! The pita is AMAZING - so soft and buttery - and great with any of the spreads. The kebab special is a great dish to share between 2 people, especially if you want appetizers and dessert. And saving room was worth it - the baklava was probably the best Ive ever had. I second what all the other posts say about how warm and friendly the owner is. Its a great experience overall. Highly recommend!

We stopped in today to check it out and found great service, excellent fresh food, and a charming host. The rice and veggies were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The only thing that would make this place better is if my stomach wouldnt fill up so quickly! Seriously though, the flavors were complex, and delicious with just the right amount of heat! The restaurant itself is lovely and comfortable. I cant wait to go back and try the dinner menu!

Going to the Caravan is such a treat! We all love to go there! Its beautiful place to be in, and the food is outstanding, all homemade and wonderful! And the chef and everyone there is friendly and fun to be around. Also when you enter the restaurant you can smell delicious aromas coming from the kitchen! One of our favorite things to do is to go there and then go to the Phoenix theatre next door!!!!! happy eating....norine "-)

This is my favorite restaurant. Love all of the food but especially the soup with spinach and turnips. Organic foods used to prepare the soup. Lamb curry dish was excellent. Service is outstanding. The atmosphere is both relaxing and interesting. You get the highest value for your dining dollars. Enjoy this marvelous treasure. Thank you Jim Couhig

This places has a wonderful vibe of culture and the hosts are very friendly! The food is delicious, all of it, and the presentation is beautiful! We tried the califlower soup and a chicken kebab dish that came with a yogurt sauce, and the chicken tikka masala. We were very pleased and would definitely come back!

They have super tasty food here. They care about the food presentation. Lamb shish kebab was really good. They have a whole variety of food from middle East and India. I highly recommend it. My only complain is that the portion of food i had was small. But that might be just because Im a rather large person.

Wonderful little restaurant tucked away in a shopping center. Staff was friendly and helped our friend navigate the menu for gluten free options. I had the Caravan Kabab plate which served a selection of their kabob options, served with rice and veggies. The meats were perfectly cooked, flavorful and juicy.
