Went with a fairly large group and we needed 2 separate tables to accommodate everyone which was fine. They were expecting us and that went smoothly. I ordered the saag gosht curried lamb and some plain naan bread. The food arrived in decent time given the group size though we were waiting some time to order beforehand. When ordering there was some confusion about naan coming with the entrees or separate and it does NOT come with but reasonable at 1.99 for the bread. The naan was good not crunchy or soggy just right. The entrée was 12.99 also quite a good price. The lamb was probably a bit overcooked for my taste though the sauce quite acceptable at level 5 of 6 spice. It has been a while since I have had Indian food and I was expecting perhaps more green separation since this dish has spinach but it is in the sauce only. This is where I felt the waitstaff could have usefully upsold by suggesting a side salad or something with bright colours (orange peppers/tomatoes?) to offset the fairly dull appearance of the dish. White rice was included and I would have used another gain maybe multi-colour (wild). I ordered a chai tea which was correctly served towards the end of the meal and was of good temperature and spice balance though the mug could have been a little bigger. In contrast, the food served could have been slightly hotter in temperature particularly the lamb. The ambience of the restaurant is not great but I focused on the people around me and the food and also was not facing the single tv playing Indian entertainment in the back of the room. It blended and was at a decent volume. The décor was ok....its in a strip mall what can you expect? Service after the initial wait to order was very good with waters being refilled frequently and staff thus available tableside for any other needs. We had a large group so it is understandable the waiter asked which dish went to whom and also the separate cheques (though I was handed someone elses bill which I quickly sorted out)... I am giving this 4 stars only because if there was a half star level I would give it 3.5 due to food balance issue (see comment about salad and food colours). But 3 is too inadequate due to service level. A photo menu might be a good idea because I am sure there are other dishes that would be more visually appealing?

One of the best meals Ive had in a really long time. I had the chicken vindaloo with a basil and garlic naan and my friend had the butter chicken. I had a bit of both main courses, both of which were rather delicious and filling. Portions were huge, in a good way, and I took the leftovers home. Reheated them about 6 or so hours later, tasted amazing still. I definitely intend to go back and its some of the best Indian food Ive had. Also, one main course (about 12 or 13 dollars) was big enough to fill me and my friend and he does MMA and Im a bottomless pit. So I would definitely recommend this place. Also, they have a very large menu (including a rather sizable vegetarian part) so theres plenty of options.

Food here is pretty good, service can be abominably slow. I like the mango curry, the naan and the chai. The main reason to go here is to see the belly dance on the second Sunday of every month. Theres no additional cover for the dance show, but you should bring cash to tip the dancers! Because this isnt a paid dance show you will usually see skilled amateurs and semi-pros getting their start in the restaurants. The show also starts with a short story from the Middle East, told by the hostess of the show. (Disclaimer, Ive danced at this restaurant three times, so I speak from experience). The show is short and makes for a nice diversion on an otherwise boring Sunday in the suburbs. Plus, naan.

Supremely great food, served by the most gracious and kind family. Ive been going here for years and this is by far my favorite northern Indian style resteruant in the area. Not afraid of tradition nor to experiment with it, the cuisine far outpaces the guise of a strip mall resteruant. It may take you while to go through and try all what there is to offer, but its worth it. My favorites are certainly the saag paneer, bhuna ghost lamb, the lamb vindaloo and an order or kabuli naan. More food than I can possibly eat even with friends but with so many favorites and flavors its the least I can order without feeling like Im missing out.

Ordered the Banquet for 2 with meat for take-out. All 4 curries tasted about the same. Even with all the spice, it was apparent that the curry was inherently sweetened. Lots of fat on the meat. Only 2 pieces of nan included. Desert was supposed to be included - but they forgot and when I called they make excuses and wouldnt offer a partial refund. They also said that the portions are all smaller than they would be if ordered individually. So the value isnt there for $41. Service is poor. Value is poor. Look elsewhere. Food might be edible, but not worth repeating.

Only ok. We liked that they are trying to provide the spice level you prefer (like the Thai places do) but the flavor is different and did not appeal to us (butter chicken) and the quality of the meat was not great. You do get a lot of food for the price which is on the higher end for a strip mall restaurant. We expect wonderful Indian food and will try more and will likely not return here since there are so many to try.

Amazing food, affordable price and good service!! We stopped here for lunch buffet on our way from whidbey island. Its a small restaurant with excellent quality food. The buffet had good vegetarian options, desert was okk. Taste was amazing esp plain naan/bread was the best we ever had. Will definitely stop by again if we are in the area.

Started going here years ago under prior ownership. The food and service has always been good. If there was ever a mistake, it was corrected promptly. Have frequented all the local Indian food establishments from Marysville to Tacoma. This is one of the bests. Even though we live an hour away, we will probably go here tonight!

Very good. I suppose I would ordinarily reserve 5 stars for something extraordinary. But here I had a buffet and of the 11 things I put in my mouth, 10 were excellent. Décor is like a cafeteria. But at the affordable prices, have to give them 5 stars. I will certainly go again. Great find!

Restaurant is clean. We ordered, shahi korma vegetable, taste was not good and they use all the frozen vegetables in it. We also tried vegetable Briyani, never tasted such worst Briyani, same frozen vegetable in it also. Waste of money.

Great food (spicier than I anticipated.... Should have gone down a star.) Wonderful service. We shared a mixed tandoori grill and the butter masala. Both were well done; tender and juicy chicken. Well definitely be back.

This food is the best I have had in Seattle. The Mutter Paneer is out of this world and the Tikka Masala is very authentic. It is my opinion that they are heads above the other Indian Restaurants in the area.

This is hands down our favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Their Chicken Tikka is to die for (sizzling onions!) and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. If youre ever craving Indian food, this is a must!
