I will state that I have never had such a poor excuse for a manager in a restaurant when I had an issue. The manager that was on duty at 8:00 PM on Friday June 15, 2012 is horrible. The guests I was with in the restaurant got lemon juice in her eyes from another table that accidently lost control of a lemon. It hit my guest directly in the eyes and the table was very concerned and troubled by the accident. The waitress and the other employees in the restaurant where very conecrned they went out of their way to take care of the guests. I went into the ladies room with the knowledge of the hostess to help put eye wash in the eyes of my guest. We where in there 2 minutes when this manager If thats what you want to call him came in and told us we had to get out because there where other women waiting to get in the restroom. We left imediately to find no one waiting to get in. I was trying to wash out the lemon juice from the eyes of my guest. The Manager lied right to our faces. We went back to the table and I asked for the manager to join us at our table. After about 7 minutes he came my guest tried to tell him how RUDE he was and he got nasty with her and talked down to her like she was a piece of trash and not an honored guest in the restaurant. I spoke up to tell him he was in the wrong and he proceeded to ask me to leave the restaurant and never return............This is the most horrible experience I have had in a well know restaurant in the local area. Everyone in the restaurant was suprised at his actions.............This Manager should at least be written up and reprimanded. He owes me and my guests a written apology and should never deal with guests on the front line again. I am fairly new to the area and I have enjoyed the restaurant and their employees and I have been trasted like a valued guest until tonight. I was told never to return but I would tell everyone that reads this beware of the night managers he has an agenda that is not condusive to a wonderful diner and dining.. I am in Customer Service for over 45 years and I would never treat a guest in my business that had an issue like I was treated tonight!! I will do everything in my being to make sure this manager aplogises for his totally lack of reguard for an injured guest!! Maybe the Owner of the Restaurant would like to have a discussion with me. I would love to have a conversation with them!! My rating of this restaurant is not the employees in the restaurant its this manager. I cant tell you how well I have been treated until tonight but this manager....

I would really like to give this restaurant a less than 1 star. I took my sister to late lunch for her birthday on Saturday (4/9). We ate between 3-4:30 p.m. as we had another event to attend in the early evening. We ordered a couple of their deluxe bloody mary’s, a loaf of their sourdough bread, and the Westport dinner for two. Total bill came to $120 with tip. The Westport boil (snow crab, small amount of Dungeness, red potatoes, small corn on the cob, whole shrimp, clams and mussels) was disappointing for someone who knows how to do a good boil. I do large family crab boils every summer and maybe that is why I wasn’t impressed. It didn’t taste fresh to me though I don’t/won’t eat clams and or mussels (just not my thing). We ate about half as there was plenty. We took the rest home. The big problem came a few hours later when my sister started getting very sick. She had what seemed to be severe food poisoning. Up all night and all the next day – very ill. She is still feeling weak and shaky today. I called to talk to the manager this am to tell them there may have been a problem with the clams or mussels (as I felt fine and that was the only difference in what we ate). The person who answered and told me he was the General Manager, Zack, seemed disinterested and only slightly sympathetic. He didn’t ask for our names or phone number and just said he would check with their shellfish producer. He only said he would do that after I told him I would be reporting the problem to the health department and that I am very aware of problems with shellfish since I work for the State Department of Fish and Wildlife (I push paper/not a biologist). So, we ate only about half of the $120 dinner and one of us enjoyed a horrible episode of food poisoning or shellfish poisoning which still seems to be causing discomfort today. I did call the Health Department and they have asked for us to provide the leftover clams and mussels to them for testing. I would have thought for spending that much on dinner for two, there would have been more concern and some sort of offer of a future discount or credit toward a future meal (though, we will probably never go back).

Currently the area this Crab Put location is in had gone under construction. Work in the parking lot makes getting to the front door confusing. My wife and I had chosen this place as somewhere to eat out for our sixth wedding anniversary. We love seafood and have eaten at the Seattle location several times. We expected a similar experience, but didnt seem to get it here in Bellevue. Getting seated was fast as there was zero wait time at about 5pm on this Saturday. Getting a round of drinks ordered however, was not that fast. We waited close to 15 minutes before meeting our waiter. I skipped the 8-9 dollar draft beer list and opted for water. Were not cheap people, but 8 bucks for a local brew like Mac & Jacks is absurd! Its literally brewed and put in kegs not too far away. We ordered the crab and seafood boils, I think the Pacific themed version. While waiting for our feast we got to chow down on some warm bread and butter that has lemon juice or zest whipped into it. It was a nice surprise! There was a good atmosphere for enjoying our bread while we waited. This particular summer day was chilly but the AC inside was up full blast. We were a bit cold. The food arrived in a good amount of time. Everything was great except it cooled down way too fast. This was probably because of the frigid AC in the place. The crab is my favorite, I just wish there was more. You basically get one snow crab cluster and a couple dungeness legs and a claw. Shrimp, clams, muscles, and oysters make up the rest of the seafood youre getting. As usual some sausage and corn on the cob are in the mix as well. The meal cost us about $86, which seems typical when youre going out for this sort of fare. I enjoy cooking and will be doing this myself next time. Its just not worth the price in my opinion.

I had been to the one downtown and was expecting a similarly excellent experience. Unfortunately this was not the case. I ordered the combo crab-crab-crab which was delicious. Its too bad the service was not so good. My meal was over 35.00 and the table total was over 80.00. It was lunch time and the place was not crowded but the waiter and the front counter lady seemed unable to assist our table of four. After eating we waited 30 minutes twittling our thumbs waiting for a ticket and possibly some cleanup wipes. I went to the front to ask for a manager, none to be found, front counter was empty. Two people working were somewhere in the far end of the building. 45 minutes went by, we had already stood up, waved our hands, Asked the seating lady once to get our waiter to bring a ticket several minutes before. finally our ticket arrives, it had been riding around tucked in the waiters pants. four of us, business types, and the waiter didnt split the ticket. since we were already severely late to our next tasks we threw together some cash and left because we didnt have another HOUR to waste with this place. Its doubtful that well be back any time soon. I never got any cleanup wipes and had to go wash my hands back at work.... Severely disappointed, from Bothell. Ratings: Food GREAT,, service UNACCEPTABLE!
