My boss just had an issue similar to me today when ordering to go food, so I will tell why I never eat here anymore. We work in the same complex and normally would just go in and get rice and kimchi. First, the younger Korean girl that works the front said we had to bring cash because we didnt order enough to use debit cards. Okay, that was fine, but she was kinda rude about it, and gave me grief for only ordering kimchi and rice. One time she essentially forced me to order something else. I am vegan so I told her no eggs or meat. I got back to my office and had both in my food she had me order. The straw finally broke when I went in to get my normal kimchi and rice, and I pulled out the money for it, but she saw I had a few more dollars in my wallet. She takes about three steps away then turns around and comes back and said the price has been increased and I need to pay more. Now I had ordered this numerous times, but always felt like my cash wasnt good enough at their restaurant because I was only ordering kimchi and rice. Now, the other restaurants in our plaza are more than happy to accept debit cards and let me order as much or little as I like, and seem happy for my business.

I come from a Korean family, where often times you can tell whats cooking by the smell that has filled the air when you walk into the room. This Resturant didnt have that, no catchy aroma, nobody saying Dang that smells good!. I didnt try the BBQ menu (the cook at your table variety), I had the bi-bim-bap, my friends had the bulgogi, one had beef the other the spicy pork. Neither one of the the beef dishes was sizzling when it got to the table, my Bi-Bim-Bap bowl was though. Im not a chef so I cant tell what it was, but something, some ingredient or ingredients was missing in all of the dishes, I tried all of them and I can honestly say it was a little bit of a let down. The Kimchee wasnt very pungent, and it certainly wasnt because it was fresh. The Tofu was mostly water, and literally disintegrated when trying to pick it up with chop sticks. For people whos palettes have not had the priveledge of eating real Korean food, this place was probably not a bad thing, it would be a flavor introduction. But for more cultured palettes, it left much to be desired. I know, I know... I was in Bellevue, what do you want..

Service was very slow. Sat around waiting to order. Finally flagged someone down. She took our order and left. Flagged someone else down and asked if we could order drinks. My son ordered a coke and i ordered a glass of metlot. The coke came but no merlot. Meanwhile.. people at next table were telling waitress that they ordered rootbeer but got wrong drink. Waitress said "its dr. Pepper, the kind of rootbeer we have" Ordered the bulgogi and marinated kalbi ribs for grill. Waitress came w food and dumped the bulgogi n mushrooms on grill and left. Small plates on table were sticky on bottom. Asked for rice and additional plates to put cooked food on. Plates came, both sticky n dirty. Food was mediocre at best. Nothing special about it. $83 pricey for what you get for both food and service. This place was highly recommended by a friend. She said it was the best Korean food around. (Shes Korean) I must have caught them on a bad day because Ive had way better. Also, the appetizers (banchan) were not great. Sad selection. Very disappointed

WOW! This was the first time I had Korean BBQ and I was impressed. The restaurant has a lot of parking around it. When you come in its very clean and the waitstaff if very friendly. For us first timers, it was nice to have a waiter that really could help us out. They dont have an all you can eat special but honestly if you have 5-6 people you can get one of the platters of meat and be good for the entire time. The meat quality was FANTASTIC. I definitely recommend getting all beef. We got half beef an half pork. The pork is good but the beef is where it is all at. Wash it all down with some sake or Sapporo and kimchi. Believe me when I say you will have quite the food coma when you leave but you feel satisfied for the next whole day.

If Im not with a big group my favorite dishes to get are the Bibimbap, Budae Jjigae (perfect for 2-3 people), and fried Mackerel are my favorite dishes here. The KBBQ is great too. The meat is better quality than other places I have been too. The meat has some great marbling, and very juicy. It switched owners about a year ago and the quality of food has drastically got better. I have lived in Bellevue for the last 9 years and frequented this restaurant over that time.

I used to go here all the time because its easy distance from the East side of Seattle and the food was decent. They had a few long-time employees who were quirky but friendly and efficient. With the new owner, it is all downhill. Food price has gone up, the quality gone down, service has been horrible and those quirky ladies are no where to be found. So sad... Looking for another easy to get to Korean restaurant now..

1star for the food. The menu does not come with the combination any more under the new owner. The service is still awful like the old one. We waited around 30min to get our first dish. The rest dishes we have to ask the servant every other times, even the tea. So if you like to chat and wait 2-3 hours to finish your dinner. Come to this place. Remember this ; the service only deserve -1% tips.

Excellent. Service with a smile. Room for large parties. Excellent Korean barbecue. I had the mackerel, excellent. Much of the food served sizzling in a hot stone bowl. Great Korean sides, one of my personally favorite things about Korean food is their sides. Room for larger parties, although I have a feeling this place fills up for weekday lunch.

We actually dont sit down at the Korean BBQ section all that much. Its good, but better with a large group, and a bit smoky. What is nice is sitting down and getting something like the dolsot bibimbap or the tofu soups: inexpensive, nicely complemented with the banchan. Its pretty quick, not a lot of effort, and for us, close by.

They have a grill on the table which is pretty awesome. Meat portions are quite good. Make sure you ask for more sides if you run out. Theyre all on the house. Also make sure to get some lettuce on the side (thats also on the side and quite helpful since youre eating so much meat)

장소도 쾌적하고 음식도 한국에서 먹은 것과 같이 맛있습니다. 시애틀 다운타운에서 20분거리이지만 시애틀에서 한식 드신디면 강력 추천드립니다.

Fast and friendly service, although when it gets super busy that reduces a bit, but thats understandable. The food is always delicious, especially the BBQ. The quality of the meat is much better than most other Korean BBQ joints Ive been to, and Ive been to my fair share...
