Fantastic food. There is no deep fryer so all the food is cooked on a griddle. There is one cook and only one cook and you can almost always expect a 20 to 30 minute wait for food. Its not bad if your with someone to talk to though. Some people who are new to the area expect it to be like Dennys but its not. Its a mom and pop style restaurant where the staff is super friendly and knows you by name and the food is all carefully prepared on the spot and made with all local stuff. So far my favorite thing to get is the steak and cheese sub. Ive also tried the breakfasts foods and hamburger and thought they were pretty good as well. Most of the menu features breakfast foods (meat, eggs, pancakes etc.) and lunch sandwiches (both hot and cold). They also have a small dinner menu. Expect all the food to be cooked well done. Price is great compared to other sit down restaurants in this day and age. Expect to pay around $3.50 - 7.50 per plate (which all come with Route 11 chips on the side on the lunch menu).

Service isnt always "quick" (thats relative and people really need to slow down a bit anyway) but the staff are all friendly and the food is great. Its a nice place to take your time and enjoy the atmosphere and conversation with the people youre with.

This was a great stop for us, and exactly that we were looking for; local flavor, non-chain, family type business. The food was fantastic, and the service was timely and polite. Would go out of my way to go back.

Come out just about every weekend morning for breakfast since moving to the area Food is very good and inexpensive. Nice place to eat and to get away from chains. Blueberry pancakes are the best!!!

Best Chocolate coconut pie I have ever had - original recipe- fantastic - but as they sign says Pie Fixes Everything and if there is no Chocolate Coconut try the Coconut custard or cherry!!! Awesome

I ate here when passing through the area on a motorcycle tour with my wife. Really good food and coffe at reasonable prices. Not your typical diner fare either.
