I love Mexican food. We will drive a good hour or so in hopes of tasty Mexican food, and believe me we have had it everywhere! I had really high hopes for this one based on the reviews, but I was really let down. Service was great. Waiter was very friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary sopapillas at the end of our lunch. Aside from that we felt as the prices for very high for food that was not fresh. I order cheese dip every time at Mexican restaurants and this was by far the worst. It had the consistency of glue. Flavor was there but texture was way off. Salsa did not taste fresh,it has a very strong onion flavor that I find you get when you leave homemade salsas in the fridge way to long. Rice, beans and beef burrito were average. The one thing I was looking forward to the most was the Chili Relleno and that was probably the worst I have ever had. As far as I could tell there was no cheese??? It had the consistency of rubber. NO JOKE! Im thinking it was fresh at one time but maybe they nuked it too long in the microwave It was inedible. Anyways I will not be returning. Off to find another place!

We stopped at this restaurant twice once for lunch and once for dinner going and returning on a 1600mi round trip respectively over a 10 day period. On both occasions service was efficient and very friendly. The atmosphere is tastefully done although a little understated. We ordered enchiladas, burritos, chile rellanos and chicken mole and all were good portions for the price and very well prepared and presented as well as extremely flavorful. The lunch menu provided slightly smaller portions at lower cost and would be a good choice to experiment with before committing to the larger and more expensive dinner menu. Complimentary unlimited chips and a tangy sauce were also provided. The meal ended with complimentary Sopapillas that are crisp, lightly dusted with sugar and cinnamon, strawberry puree and a touch of whipped cream; yummy and a very nice touch. Major credit cards are accepted. We had an excellent experience on both occasions and have no reservation about recommending this restaurant and look forward to visiting it again on another trip.

We are from out of town and wanted Mexican food. Camino was empty, no cars nothing. But we went for it and it was pleasantly tasteful. We got Nachos with beef for an appetizer and they were great! The Nachos were our favorite out of everything. I order beef tacos, which were good as well. My boyfriend ordered a chicken dish and said it was good. We eat Mexican quite often and Camino was very satisfying. The chips and salsa was awesome. I enjoyed the salsa because it was a little spicy and I love spicy food. The rice and beans were good and I actually liked the beans compared to other Mexican restaurants. They seemed fresh. Good experience, with polite and friendly staff!

This is our family mexican place! It is very good, (If you get the camino real burrito mega sized, it comes with 2 large burritos which can be easily split for 2 very hungry people) The service is very good, every waiter we have had has been very friendly. The salsa is AMAZING!!! It has more onion than most other mexican restaurants, which I now do to my own salsas! Best salsa I have had from a sit-down mexican restaurant! The texture is there, but the flavor is just a smidge bland... but it im a very picky eater, so it is probably is not noticeable to most.

COLE SLAW??!??!?! Ive never heard of cole slaw at a mexican restaurant but it was an interesting and tasty addition. The salsa was a bit watery but had good flavor. I got the taco and 2 enchiladas and they were pretty average. One thing was that there was a distinct fish flavor in the salsa. My friend ordered queso and it tasted average, but the bowl it was served in was tiny. The same friend also got chicken fajitas and complained that they were over seasoned. All in all it was an enjoyable meal though.

August 5, 2011 The plate was full -heaping full of lettuce and rice filler. The meat that I could find tasted very processed. The main dishes, in my opinion, were not very good - definitely not up to my expectations, based upon the previous reviews I had read. They were just not appetizing at all. Chips and Dip were good. Service was good. Very loud bass when music was played.

Called in a pickup order. #1. They got the order wrong. Which, I could almost live with because what they gave me was still pretty good. #2. The unforgivable: Their "appetizer" order of jalapeno poppers...for which I paid $6....was only FOUR pieces. $1.50 per bite. Ridiculous. So my advice: if you order takeout, check EVERY box in EVERY bag.

My only problems: they brought out more food than I should eat, and it was soooo good that I could hardly stop eating it! The staff was great, service was super-quick, and the price was good. I would have never gone here because I was LOOKING for a place to go, but we stumbled upon it and it was great!

Food was terrible. I ordered Shredded beef tacos, and it ended up coming out shredded beef and potatoe tacos.. When Im the heck did tacos come with potatoes... If you read this, drive 5 more minutes to the Camino Real in Berryville down 7. It is 100% better than this Camino...

Pleasant service and ambience. But the food wasnt good. Chips were burnt, and the fajita steak were overcooked and stringy. Flour tortillas seemed as if they were store-brought, and the salsa was watery with very few chunks. My kids liked their kids dinners, though.

The food was a little overpriced and soemwhat bland. The severs were nice but fairly slow. I am not saying we would not go back, but we certaibly will look for other options in the area next time.

Reasonable Mexican food, decent service. Building is a bit run down. I prefer La Carreta or El Rancho, but thats just my preference.
