I am a student who commutes 30 minutes to school, with a part time job in the local area. I usually have work in the morning then have a few hours in between, creating the need to park it for a few hours since I live outside of Williamsburg. I bought a drink as a common courtesy intending to kill my time in the shop and the lady at the register told me my gift card wouldnt be accepted without a minimum and I couldnt sit at a large table since she noticed my bavkpack. I have my laptop and three separate books I have to use all at once to complete assignments. Wont be coming back to "take up too much space" or "order too little".

As a regular here (going on five years now), I was offended by an employee wearing a hat "make America Mexico again". It shocked me that someone who is clearly enjoying the benefits of the shops employment would openly advocate such a concept. While they make great coffee, Ill be looking elsewhere now. I dont want whats supposed to be a relaxing experience to be politically biased. Shocked the owners would allow this.

Saw a previous review about not allowing someone to sit and do work here so I was skeptical, but ended up having the opposite experience. The service was friendly and the coffee delicious. I stayed for four hours while working on my computer and the staff even helped me find a spot with an easily accessible outlet. Ordered a latte and also ended up getting lunch. Was very impressed and I will absolutely return.

Recently moved to Washington but still buying coffee. Visited there for over two years before the move. Loved the food, service and the most important...COFFEE!!! Very high quality, not over roasted like most other coffees. Owners are both very considerate and remedy any issues a customer might have.

The roasted coffee bean selection here is outstanding, and their preparation of our cappuccino and café mocha was spot on. Very glad to also find a new source for whole beans! We are looking forward to grinding the beans we bought today when we arrive back home after vacation. Thanks, Charles!

Unpredictable availability. Randomly closed all the time despite the recommendations, I have attempted to go to this coffee shop on four different occasions during the published business hours just to find it closed. In the future I might just have to call before I waste my time

A true passion for coffee from the green beans, through the roast and in my cup. Beautifully frothed milk, and an excellent 4 bean espresso blend will guarantee that if I can ever get back to Williamsburg VA, I will be visiting The Coffeehouse.
