While vacationing in Williamsburg, my family and I walked into a restraurant off the street known as Seasons. On the sign out front it said adult BBQ for 16.95 and children for 11.95. After we decided to spend our vacation money on a meal in this restraurant, we found out that children was aged 10 and under, our 2 were 12 and 14. So ok, a little of a suprise that the age was so low, but we were there and we had a 10% coupon, so seemed like it was worth a try, especially if was good. We proceeded to order 4 adult buffets and found the food interesting. My wife had one plate, my 14 and 12 year old had 1.5 plates each and I might have had 1.5 plates as well, Im being generous on the amount of food eaten. Also to note, the plates were a bit smaller than average, so if you are going to eat a lot, you are going to have to work for it, walking back and forth. Wasnt the best, but over all very good. After we received the bill, we noticed that we had been charged 100.00 for 4 buffets plus the additional drinks. I asked the server and he informed me that the dinner price went from 16.95 to 24.95 at 4:00, we entered the place at 6:30. At this point Im upset, but decided to go ahead and pay. Once we walked back outside and saw the chalk sign still there, I noticed it was still there and didnt specify lunch or dinner. Then I looked on the menu, and didnt see the buffet prices or the age requirment mentioned. At this point I decide to speak to the manager and understand why there was was such a misrepresentation and see if there was anything that he could do, given the "false" advertising. He says he can give me 15% back, so he voided the first payment with the 10% off and then reprocesss it for 15% off. I asked him, so I guess I get a net 5% back? He said yes. This was not the right outcome given the bait and switch on the price. Anyone that decides they want to risk it, make sure you get everything in writing before you order.

This restaurant is the WORST restaurant to go to in Williamsburg. We made reservations on Christmas Eve to arrive at 7:00pm for 5 people. We arrived at 6:45 and where seated with menus. We ordered our beverages, 2 sweet teas, one unsweetened tea and a water. The teas were overly sweet and the water tasted like they scooped it out of a chlorinated pool. 30 minutes later we space our order, our server was not in sight the entire time, so I asked another server to please find ours. Our server told us she was new, she did the best she could. One person ordered haddock that was delicious but the side was the sweet pototoe fries that were cold and hard in the inside. I ordered the chicken and shrimp sun dried tomotoe pesto that was extremely spicy, totally disappointed. There was no hint in the discription that said it was spicy. One person order the crab cake that had ZERO flavor. We ordered the crab dip for an appetizer that might has well have served one person. The chowder was delicious after the second time it came out because the first time it was ice cold. The last person had the prime rib that also came out ice cold. Sent it back and finally received it after everybody else was done eating. I asked to speak to the manager that gave us a 25% off. All of us didnt even eat half of our food, I was not having it. I asked to speak to the general manager and the owner came to our table. He told us well you ate the food so I cant comp it all out. He said I can give you 40%, my fiance said 45%, he said no Ill do 40% off. He gave us excuses about the flavorless steak, because it was medium rare they put no seasoning on it. I hope everybody reads this review and realilzes how horrible the food and service is. We were in their for an hour and a half. We have been to many restaurants and nothing will compare to how horrible this experience was. Do not waste your time or money on this place because you will be so unsatisfied!

If Seasons were the last restaurant on the earth...DONT GO THERE! My party of 4 walked into a half empty restaurant at 6 PM and was asked for our name. There was no one waiting ahead of us. That should have been our first clue. When finally seated after a 10 minute wait, it went downhill from there. I asked to hang onto my menu to decide on a drink. I was never asked again about a drink. My wife ordered wine, which sat empty during the 30 minute+ wait time for dinner to arrive. When dinner finally came, the meals were cold. Service was terrible. Our waitress was so preoccupied with an extra dinner we did not order, that she ran off without bringing butter or condiments for our table. We made a second request for these items when we finally saw her again, which was after some time. My wife complained about her dinner being cold, which the waitress would not even acknowledge. She instead complained about how busy the half-empty restaurant was. I ordered a burger. The single ring of onion was literally the size of a quarter. The whole table got a good laugh out of that. But the worst was yet to come! A woman walking around looking "managerial" and self important delivered the coup de grace. She took what appeared to be an unused, still wrapped straw from a recently vacated table, dropped it on the floor then put it into a dispenser with the fresh straws, thereby recycling it. My party promptly paid our bill and left to get dessert elsewhere. I left my phone number and name with my check offering to give them some positive feed back. I dont imagine they care enough to inquire. If I could give Seasons a zero star on this site, I would.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, around 12:30 pm. The restaurant was not busy. We waited for someone to come seat us. Then we waited on someone to take our drinks. Our appetizer came out fairly quickly. We then waited over an hour for our food to arrive. An hour. We watched several families get up and leave, and we should have done the same. The service was lack luster. The food was alright. But waiting over after ordering for food to arrive is inexcusable. We requested to speak to a manager, who then did nothing more than say she would go check on the food. We did get a discount after complaining, but thats not the point. They said they were down in kitchen staff. MY biggest issue was that had we been cared for otherwise, it wouldnt have been as big of a deal. But our drinks went empty, and no hold over options were given to us. There is a huge BBQ buffet in the restaurant. If food is going to run that long, the option to grab a salad there, or some french fries or something that said effort was being made would have been nice. All of that aside, communication about what was happening would have been even better. We had plans to do other things today that did not involve our quick lunch turning into a hour and a half ordeal, which left us frustrated and unsatisfied. When the food did arrive, it was only alright. There were under cooked veggies, overcooked chicken, and stale chips delivered to our table. We are locals, and will not be returning, and we will make sure to tell others of our experience as well.
