I walking toward the door right after last call. Along with everyone else in the club. As I was walking across the floor, i was finishing up a 3rd of my beer before I left. The lady at the door saw me finishing it as I was walking, she said hey to one of the toads that work there, and he walked up and ripped the beer out of my hand and said get out. This was 25 minutes before 2am. I was in mid sip of the beer. Now Im not a big drinker. I wasnt drunk. I literally sip on maybe 3 or 4 bud lights all night. Have no idea why I was singled out or why they were so angry. But for sure the whole staff was really really rude to everyone walking out at the end of the night. They were nice while the customers were spending money. I tip huge. Tip on every beer bought. Gave the bar tender my last 10 bucks on my last beer bought. I should have been said to at least finish it up quickly. I would have said no problem, taken my last chug and left.. If you dont believe me ask him. I was the guy last night with the brown shirt. Muscular build and Patriots hat. He was the shirtless bartender.

So the music there drives me crazy and not in a good way. I was banned from here do to the fact I was almosted jumped in the parking lot by six chicks getting into my car. I pulled out a weapon cause security was no where to be found. After my friends and I got into the car then security come out to the parking lot and which I was banned for pulling out the weapon and the six girls nothing happen to them.

Have been going to the Cactus for over 10 years and have NEVER had a problem. Other than a few long bathroom lines, that they have tried to remedy- it has always been a great time. Security is quick to remove any issues and are polite enough. Drinks are strong and very reasonable, cheaper than most other HR bars. 10 years and running- I can say this is one of the most consistant and fun clubs in HR.

Horrible dance music. One of the bartenders was really rude. Drag show was not the best. 80% of the time they are just hugging guest and only play slow songs. The whole layout is very bad. The dance floor as no fans facing ot so it get hot very fast, the dance floor is small. Also it seems like its a bar that TRIDED very hard to be a club but failed. I do not recommend

I am disappointed that each time I go the environment seems to be less gay. I have enjoyed going on Wednesdays for the show but last Wednesday will be my last. I just feel between the dancers who cater to women and young people who are there just to be seen, I have lost interest. If it turns back into a gay club I hope someone will let me know.

Very busy place which is a good thing but I thought this place was an LGBT bar. When we went in everyone was straight. They barely had any free dance time because there were drag shows going on. Shows are great but not every night you are open. Drinks were expensive and they didnt carry any variety. Could use more bartenders.

Not a nice place to hang out and smells like a bar. A bottle of beer was priced one dollar more from one bartender and one dollar cheaper at a different bartender at the other end of the bar. The security dudes were discussing how much I spent in the place as if I didnt hear them. I think the jello shots had drugs in them.

The drag show and the charity event were fun. There is not a lot of space for dancing and while its meant to be an accepting environment, its very easy to feel excluded by the bars regulars. There are also a ridiculous amount of straight people that attend so it really doesnt feel like an LGBTQ+ safe space.

My friends and I come here almost every weekend-every other weekend. We love it here. Only problem I have is the music...its always the same songs, same genre, etc. Other than that I have nothing against this place. We come for a littl R & R. Nice place to meet new people.

Im straight and have been going to the Cactus with my gay friends for about two years now. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The drinks are strong and well priced. This along with knowing half the people in the bar makes for an excellent weekend experience.

Its the only major LGBT establishment in the area so its a nice place to hang out, but the drinks are a tad pricey and strong, the line dancing is a bit frustrating because like there are those of is who just want to dance.
