This place has gone downhill...and the hill was more like a cliff! Ive lived close to No. 1 Chinese for 19 years and for 19 years when it was "Chinese Food Night" this is the place I went. The food was pretty darn good! Since most of my kids have moved out, I dont frequent the place as much (in past year, Id go about once a month),. Today, I thought some Chinese food would be a nice change...I probably hadnt been to No. 1 in 8 or 9 months. It was awful. My sweet n sour shrimp, the breading on the outside was raw next to the actual shrimp (which I didnt inspect too closely). The General Tsos Chicken was so hard on the outside...like it must have been cold and they microwaved it. Plus, it wasnt even Gen. Tsos Chicken...zero spiciness. No. 1, you had a pretty loyal customer for a long time, but NO MORE.

I ordered on the phone first I tried to speak slow second they got my card number wrong 3rd they couldn't find my apt then after the delivery driver called me and I'm waiting outside after an hour and a half they didn't have my drink , but he gave me my money back for it then I ordered a poopoo plater big mistake the ribs were burned and cold the chicken was terrible I guess I kinda gave up after that cause cause my fortune cookie was stale don't ask what the fortune was cause I could have care less and didn't even eat my beef and broc due to I didn't want to do this#1 a #2 good luck ordering from this place as for me I've learned my lesson

My favorite Chinese rest. I had to laugh about the guy who gave a negative review for this place regarding their delivery service. I do not know who he was reviewing but it wasnt this rest. This rest. does not deliver and has not for the 9 years I have lived in the area.

The food is good and everything is a great price but the cashier cant count she shorted me and then I told her she got rude and the other guy checked the video camera to see if I was lying.... smh to avoid from being the next big story on News Channel 3 ill stay away!!

Of course they are always busy, they make good food on the cheap. Maybe they dont speak the best English, but the service is good, they are friendly and they keep the place clean. Om nom nom indeed.

The cashier shorted me $10 and when I confronted her about it she got belligerent and defensive. Regardless of how good the food is they will never have mine or my famaily $ again

Ive been buying food from New Number 1 for I believe 14 or 15 years. Their food always tastes good, theyre fast and reasonably priced. What more could one want.
