july 4th 2011: Did not feel like cooking tonight so decided to give this place a try, and now i regret it. What i ordered: Sesame chicken w/hot and sour soup, white rice, and fried dumplings. The sesame chicken was just awful, aside from the fact it tasted disgusting it was like chewing on a dog toy. The broccoli that accompanies the chicken should have been thrown into the trash, it was about a week past its prime. The white rice, the most basic food in all Chinese restaurants tasted stale and under cooked, I dont like it when my rice crunches. Fortunately i was saved from tasting the Hot and sour soup as i never got it, thats right they for got to put it in my bag and sadly i did not check the bag till i got home. lastly the fried dumplings, this one made me die a little on the inside, since they dont even make the dumplings there they come frozen. They were not cooked properly at all, rock hard on one side and undercooked on the other. This is the first and last time i will eat from this restaurant and i can honestly say it is the worst one i have eaten at hands down.

My friend and I wanted to order some Chinese food cause it was late and we were hungry. This place was recommended but it was a disaster. My friend ordered Chow Mein. A stir fried noodle turned out to be more Lo Mien (soft noodle). I ordered Lo Mien and it was mushy and flavorless cabbage with meat. The Chow Mein was OK but the Lo Mein I would not even feed to my dog. Overall the restaurant was a disappointment and a waste of money.

One of the many restaurants on Marshall Street, Panda West serves up delicious Chinese food in an elegant atmosphere conducive to conversation and flirting. Their lunch selections are very affordably-priced, and come with tea, soup, and Chinese crackers with duck sauce. The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the service is flawless. Great place all around.

I have been going to the Panda West for 20+ years. Thee food is always fabulous and the service is outstanding. The setting is on the Syracuse University hill and offers fine Chinese cuisine with a nice ambience complete with linen tablecloths. I highly recommend this restaurant as a side note feel free to bring your own vino.

The food here is good, but they recently got rid of their lunch menu, which was roughly half the price of their dinner menu for the same food. I used to be able to get a good lunch here for $7-9. Now its at least $14 for any dish with meat or shrimp. BRING BACK THE LUNCH MENU!!!

They charged my son 18.75 for shrimp lo mein. Are these people retarded?? My son is on a fixed budget and they ripped him off. Dont go to this restaurant EVER
