If you have ever been to a Kolache Factory, this is a franchise of the chain, and a very good one! Perhaps it was coincidental, but the staff were all adults on our visit and treated us as warmly as regulars. We went in this morning with the coupon we received for joining the mailing list. When the exceptionally sweet lady behind the counter asked if we were military, I reminded her that we were using a coupon. She assured me that we could use both discounts! I ordered the bacon egg and cheese for breakfast and it was deliciously filled with fresh, fluffy eggs and real bacon. I also ordered an egg ranchero and a Philly cheese steak to save for later. Both were delicious after 15 seconds in the microwave. I had to pick a few of the jalapenos out of the ranchero, but Im a wimp. It just means that those who like it spicy wont be disappointed! I am excited that Hampton Roads is branching out in diverse dining (yes, even fast food) options. If you know the chain, the Kolaches will measure up. If you dont, give it a try. Ive never had a "real" Kolache, so I cant weigh in on the authenticity, but I like Mexican food and can still enjoy the very Americanized Taco Bell!

Kolache are pastries of Czech origin and Klobasneky are similar but with savory fillings. Kolache Factory has decent klobasneky and kolache - excellent food "on the run". However this location leaves a lot to be desired. I doubt the owner has any food service experience. This is a really low-budget operation and the service is very slow. (Use the drive-thru, theres nothing inside to see). I suspect they will learn as they go and hopefully take this to the next location. This is a really good "food product" for the U.S. consumer (they could have chosen a better name, however). Im confident that - over time - this will be a successful format if they listen to the customer.

I had never eaten here before, so didnt know what to expect. I ordered three kolaches -- peach, spinach and sausage -- and a cup of coffee. It all was pretty good, but didnt knock my socks off. The service was friendly and good (I used the drive-thru), but the fellow did forget to give me napkins (a cardinal sin in my book). The only thing I sorta complained about is when youre trying to interact with the drive-thru person, Independence Blvd. can get very noisy in the background, so they need to speak up -- even shout if necessary. It was OK. Probably will go back, but wont go out of my way to do so.

I have eaten here about three times and while the food itself is ok, I have never been really able to accept the fact that the food sits out in the open air. That being said I would always examine my kolaches before I would eat them, thats when I discovered the dreaded hair and gnat in the same kolache (probably was dropped on floor). I didnt go in to confront anyone, I just wont be returning. I really want to like this place but the food handling practices there is just too much for me. Honestly I dont expect this place to last here in Virginia Beach.

Being from Texas, I was excited to come here with my family to eat. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, there were numerous flies landing on the food, and the prices were higher than they should have been. I still bought some anyway because I am in the military and that food is waaaaaaaay worse but still. The kolaches werent bad and they had more choices than what I am use to seeing when visiting Morning Kolaches. I will probably go back but not anytime soon.

Good coffee, breakfast and lunch. If youre looking for a different option for breakfast this is great. Easy and tasty treat to eat while driving. They have a drive thu window. If you are tired of the same old egg mcmuffin or sausage biscuit type breakfast give kolache factory a try. Lots of sweet and savory options. Get your favorite breakfast fair served inside little pastry shell. Everything from ham sausage and eggs to fruit fillings.

Grew up in Texas on these! So nice to finally have them back in my life. They tasted just the same. I would not worry about the people complaining about the workers, etc... Every time I have gone in they have been very friendly and accommodating. They could probably create a better space for their coffee, but other than that this place is everything it should be.

I was overly surprised at my first visit to this place. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledge of the products and eager to share information. We tried many different flavored kolaches and they are all exceptionally tasty. The dining room was neat and clean and unique with bar seating along the window. I am definitely going back I cant wait

All the food is absolutely fresh and, not to mention, delicious. Ever since this place opened up my coworkers and I find ourselves in here at least three times a week. With many options to choose from, there is a combination of of flavor for everyone to enjoy. I will definitely continue to give this establishment my business.

The 3 to 4 bites sized food has been consistently satisfying for both price and taste! I am a coffee drinker and K.F. typically brews 6 flavors with 2 being seasonal every morning! Daytime hours of operation end a bit early, so only breakfast & lunch may be had! We keep going back & do recommend.

For the longest time I would drive by this place and wonder what it was. I finally had a friend tell me and I decided to try it out. Wow! The first time I just had the Polish Sausage. It was delicious! So the next time I ordered the standard 3 dozen party try for my office. Everyone loved it.

First time having these, really yummy and filling! Priced reasonably as well with lots of options ranging from savory to sweet. Place was very clean with a very welcoming layout and great seeing options. Staff was very friendly as well. All in all great first impression! Will be returning!

Delicious! I was a huge KF fan when I lived in Texas, so I was so excited they opened up a location in Virginia. I always order at least 2 dozen kolaches and they dont last more than a day or two at my house. My favorite flavors are Jalapeno Cheddar and Cream Cheese.

Maybe they are made differently here than in Texas but I was not impressed the only good one was the sausage one. I ordered cheese and jalapeno one as well and it was just moosh and gross. I was so upset I spent 13$ for a few Kolaches and ended up throwing them away.

Great deals and friendly service. The entire experience culminated in them asking questions to make my food better that I hadnt even thought of. For example, they mentioned that since I bought 6 I qualified for 6 free, and they even asked if I wanted them warmed up.

Delicious food! I lived in Texas for a while and got hooked on kolaches since they are popular there. When I moved to Virginia Beach I was so excited to find the Kolache Factory and especially to find out it is just as good as what Im used to.

It has do many different bread/food options in the bread. The majority of the stuff tastes pretty good too. Although, a bit of a warning, ordering a dozen of a particular kind of filling of bread can run you up to more than $30.
