Ok listen up every one here is true inside facts about the vestal bakery. 1) do you not realize your hiring sign is up more than 10 months out of the 12 in a year. THIS SHOWS YOU ARE NOT GOOD TO WORK FOR!!!! 2) staff is mostly vestal high school kids or some which is great showing kids responsibility. The issue is the management Marry and Mark use to own the bakery and are in the process of selling it to there sun who DOES NOT GIVE TWO STONES ABOUT THE PLACE. WHY ARE YOU THERE JUSTIN 3) IT IS TALK AROUND VESTAL MARRY IS VERY MEEN TO HER WORKERS. WHICH SHE IS I NO PEOPLE WHO CURRENTLY WORK THERE. 4) Vestal bakery does not have their walk in cooler orgainized properly leaving there sauce uncovered under with the raw meat. The dishwasher makes the sauce which is just cans of tomatoe sauce and paste after dumping it in the worker has to scoop with bare hands the excess from the can. SO UNCLEAN. WORKERS ARE LEFT WITH NOT WITH ENOUGH SUPPLIES TO DO THERE JOB OWNER JUSTIN WILL NOT COME IN UNTIL CLOSING EVEN IF THEY TEXT HIM. 5) There is NO SUCH THING AS TEAM AT VESTAL BAKERY ( HELLO MAYBE THATS WHY EVERYONE KEEPS QUITING) everyone is on there own and at the end of the night if someone isnt done Justin the owner stands up front not helping waiting to leave. What is the point of this everyone is only human and can do so much. 6) people come to this restraunt all day there prices are relatively fair so why not well why is it at night the dishwasher is running around doing so much and people are standing around behind the counter ( ONCE AGAIN LACK OF TEAM WORK). Also why is the grill shut off so early at 8 pm your open until 9. LETS SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES THAT CARE ABOUT THERE EMPLOYEES AND AND SHOW WHAT REALLY MATTERS PEOPLE NOT JUST MONEY. P.S RICHIES IS A GREAT PLACE THE OWNER IS SUPER FRIENDLY AND IS KID FRIENDLY.

AS a Vestal Bakery customer for years....I have to say that the inconsistent service by your typical HS teenager is totally unacceptable,...After purchasing two subs there this evening..I have to say this is my LAST VISIT there....WE purchased the special of the week..foot long meatball sub(with very questionable meat)..NO sauce..NO cheese....An Italian sub...which was really a bologna sub...both ended up in the garbage!!! I made a call 748-8239..Asked to speak with a manager or owner and was told neither was on the premises..SO I was stuck talking to one of their very intelligent HS students.....I was told that the reason NO sauce was on the MB sub was because it was absorbed by the bread..IMPOSSIBLE, I said..the bread was so stale.....IT couldnt have happened....The Italian SUB must have also absorbed the rest of the meat as well..NOT to mention the lettuce and cheese..... In this day and economy...ALL I wanted to hear was...we are sorry this happened..HOW may we help...Basically what I got was..TUFF LUCK....from one of their VERY intelligent HS workers...NOT once did I hear HOW can we make this right.....OUR families hard earned dollars will NO longer support this mom and pop establishment.....SAD..... BUT HEY....They have HELP wanted sign up!!!!!!!!!!!!!...LOOKS to be 12 to 16 yr old wanted!!!!!!!!!!! A Vestal Customer NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......POOR was the lowest rating offered.....which is 1 star.....I give it zero stars....SUB STANDARD....POOR, POOR, POOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
