While traveling from out-of-state I was looking for a Chinese food fix, and more importantly, someone who delivered. This location fell a bit short. Obviously, I dont have enough time to try the whole menu, but what I had was rather tasteless and lacking in flavor. I ordered the Spicy Fried Seafood with fried rice and hot and sour soup. The main dish was OK, it was mildly spicy, a bit soggy (which Ive given them the benefit considering it was delivery), and lightly seasoned. At times it was simply chewing on a cooked (rubbery) piece of battered calamari with no additional flavors. I used a soy sauce packet to add flavor as it badly needed something. I had a hard time finishing the dish, I felt as though I was eating just to eat, I stopped enjoying it after a few bites. So, I switched to the soup hoping it wouldnt let me down. Yikes, it was not much more than a lightly flavored tap water with cooked veggies. Man! I was SOOOO hungry and even that didnt make it taste good. One spoonful of soup and it went back in the bag. I dont think I will be trying this place again for the remainder of my stay, suppose Ill try room service next time, heck, even a chain restaurant around the corner might be better off.

Horrible service. I came in and no one greeted or sat me and my mother down. Once waiter came he didnt greet us, was extremely rude and told me to get food off lunch menu. And before I could even ask for a drink he took the menu out of my hands and went off. Water glasses were dirty. Food was good but horrible service. As I was off to pay my bill, waiter demanded a 15% tip (that I did not give him he should be happy I even gave him a 10% tip.) He explained it was a service restaurant (yeah, horrible service) when I demanded to show me where in the place does it say I have to pay %15, he kept saying "tip too low" and almost didnt want to let me leave. Place sucks!!!! And soups are bland. Super unprofessional oh and business owner or his son walks around watching eat. Its very uncomfortable ..

I went here expecting standard American-Chinese food, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a large, comprehensive Chinese menu. I have lived years in China, and was delighted to find that not only did they have many delicacies like salt and pepper squid that you only find at Chinese restaurants that cater primarily to the Chinese visitors and the Chinese community, but their Peking Duck is far-and-away the best I have had outside of China. In fact, it is quite comparable to Quanjude or Guolin in Beijing, and much better than Peking Universitys famous Peking Duck restaurant - TaiAn - which I believe is now gone. The food here is literally as good and authentic as any of the big city Chinatowns!

As visitors to the area, we took a chance on this place for take out lunch and ended up unsatisfied with food. Egg drop soup with corn is certainly unusual but the corn taste was so strong I could not eat it. Home style bean curd had a bland sauce and too much bell pepper which overwhelmed the taste. I do not care for bell peppers, but used sparingly in a dish I can tolerate them. In this case I think they were used as filler instead of more costly vegetables like broccoli. Pork fried rice was ok - Thankfully, my wife shared her order with me. As I reread my review I realize I may come off as an uber picky food snob, but really I am not. The people were very nice, but I would not eat here again.

Its a space space, but dont let the crowd or plain decor scare you away. Every time weve been here, the restaurant is always full even on an early Sunday evening. However, weve never waited longer than 15 minutes. Most of the time, we were seated within 5 minutes. The best thing about this place is the Peking duck. The chef came from the famous Peking Gourmet in Baileys Crossroads. Its the best Peking duck in the area. The chef carves the duck at the table. The duck is juicy with crispy skin. The accompanying sauce, pancake, and scallions are perfect. We tried other dishes on the special menu and thought they were good, too. Its one of those places that I go out of my way for.

Would leave no stars but gave one to leave review. Wait staff rolled their eyes at us upon entering the restaurant and proceeded to do so on four more occasions during our visit. If you order soda, you will receive in a can and there was no clarification as to what the charge is for a "refill". Dan dan noodle was awful and very generic, not authentic. They "push" the duck so the wait staff does not have to do anything. We did not want the duck and waitress rolled her eyes and walked away even though we were ordering. Wait staff complained about the tip we left which we thought was more than fair due to the level of service we received. Also, bathroom was NASTY!

It doesnt look like much from outside, but when you enter and see it packed full of Chinese people, you know youve found the right place. This is the best Chinese Ive ever eaten without contest, and Ive been to numerous China towns throughout the country (Seattle, Philly, NYC, Pittsburgh). I usually dont order generic dishes like General Tsos, but a friend got some, and it was fantastic and much different than what youd get anywhere else. The dumplings are also wonderful. And the lo mein. Outstanding. Anytime Im in the DC area, I come here.

A surprising little gem. This place doesnt look like much from the outside...well...it doesnt look like much on the inside either but the food is fresh, delicious and comes to your table ridiculously quick. Also, did I mention it is incredibly affordable. If youre looking for some good quick Chinese food and fortune cookies with the most obscure "fortunes"? If so, then this is the place for you.

Very rude and unprofessional service . Attempted to order a lunch special substitute white rice for chicken fried rice . Representative said hell no and I will have to charge you $10 for chicken fried rice and Ill give you the white rice too . That makes no sense at all just give me fried rice and Ill pay the extra for the chicken . The guy taking orders didnt budge at all I canceled my order .

very authentic chinese food - thats coming from someone who you used to live in China, if that means anything. their customer service is pretty good, considering "customer service" itself is not really part of Chinese culture. if youre looking for a not-so-traditional restaurant experience and good food, give this place a try. prices are great, too - another sign that its a real chinese spot

The place is usually packed during weekday lunch hours, so it is easier to go after 1 pm. Portions are huge and taste wonderful. I like the Crispy Pork Chops and steamed fish fillet, while the children like the General Tsaos Chicken. Spring rolls are crispy but abit oily. We found the manager talkative and helpful. This is a small family owned restaurant in the heart of Tysons Corner.
