Not really sure they are used to catering to an African American crowd, guest that entered after us were immediately greeted as we stood for couple minutes while the server walked around and catered to the other guest passing us a few times standing at the door, eventually greeted we grabbed a seat and after several minutes were approached for our drink orders after being brought water she came took few more orders making their drinks and eventually brought my orange juice and walked away again..After a while she obviously noticed slight frustration and came over asked if we needed a.minute ( like we hadnt had about 20) after informing her we were ready and ordering she just walked away but I noticing her bobbing her head sort of mimicking me ordering (very childish) and rude as well, she countinued to cater the other guests and didnt acknowledge us at all now 30 minutes into waiting for our food.... Eventually we just paid for my orange juice and left..This has to be the very worst place Ive ever witnessed this nonsense she literally acknowledged and catered to every single customer in the room except us!! Its was like we were invisible to her NEVER AGAIN!!

Ate at Mosiac tonight. Was very disappointed with the service. We were seated within minutes but did not see a waiter for 20 minutes. Ordered drinks and meal. At least 20 minutes before we got drinks and that was only after we asked the busboy for help. The manager asked about our drinks but never came back. After being there 1 hour and 20 minutes and talking with the manager our meal was finally served. We had to request bread and refills of drinks. Waiter never came back to make sure things were okay until the meal was finished. One other couple left after waiting 11/2 hour for their meal. Another customer was given his meal by the manger who did not realize he did not have silverware. We gave him our silverware so he could eat. This was my third time but the last time I will eat there. The staff was not concerned about the poor service and the manager did nothing to correct any of the issues we had. My husbands shrimp and grits was good. Rest of the food was lukewarm when served.

Had reservations for 6:30. Had play tickets at 8:00. Sat there 10 minutes before anyone came over to us. 20 more minutes before our wine arrived. (horrible wine - was not offered a choice of brand) They still hadnt taken our order. When we placed the order I noted the time, 7:05 to the waiter, told him we had tickets would our food make it in time. This resulted in receiving a half a cup of soup. ((I took a picture if anyone wants to see)) At 7:40 we still had no food. My friend went to cancel our order and magically the food appeared. We had 15 minutes to eat. It wasnt just us, all the tables around us were complaining also. This was uacceptable and I will not be back.

This is a small restaurant and two of the the last three times I was here, the restaurant was packed with LOUD private parties. The shrimp and grits I had here about a year ago were fantastic and kept me coming back. However, about five months ago, I had their "signature" Mac and Cheese and two months ago, I went back for the Shrimp and Grits. Both were mediocre and, each time, one of the listed ingredients was missing from the dish. I dont think Im going back for a while, if ever. Also, they said that they were "updating" their wine list the last two times I visited. How long does it take to print one from a computer?

Recently contracted for catering my small intimate (in home) wedding. Let me start off by saying the food was Amazing. Very large portions, high quality selection, and wonderful staff that was very friendly. Ok now for the bad. I contracted for the caterer to arrive at 3:45pm. My ceremony started at 3pm, this way there was enough time for the ceremony to conclude, us to be gone getting photos taken, and the food not to be sitting too long. Nothing like hearing the door bell ring in the middle of the ceremony.......the caterer trying to deliver the food at 3:10pm...........NOT cool!!!!!!!!!!

Great food, huge servings, and great service. Go to their Sunday brunch and try their Country Fried Steak. I dare you to try to finish it!! All in all a place youll want to patronize. You wont regret it or forget it.

(Suffolk) What food I have had there was top notch, the atmosphere is great! Nice little restaurant/bar. The only real critique is I wish they had beer on tap.
