Service was a bit slow due to the huge volume of other customers but the waitress was friendly and pleasant. However, when I went to pay, I ran into some issues with the price of the "featured" Thanksgiving turkey meal: online, it was advertised as $10.99 but the the menu says $14.99. Jonathan, one of the employees there, was fully willing to help me out but Fernando, who claims to be the manager, flat-out refused to change the prices. I told them that it was all false advertisement and definitely will not be making a return visit anytime soon to that location of Bob Evans, if I will even visit the chain restaurant at all. Fernando claims that the site advertises a "three-course meal" with soup or salad, which is why theres a price difference. However, if you look at the menu itself, it looks like a 4-course meal but it isnt: "Pick your entree" for Step 1 doesnt really count. Picture for the meal looks the same too between the site and the menu. So please, think twice before you come over here because theres: 1) False advertisement, 2) unwillingness to do a price-matching and a sully, nasty attitude towards me and also towards Jonathan. The flip side of things: the food was o.k. though.

My family and I don’t usually eat out a chain restaurants, but there are some that aren’t that bad. Bob Evans is a pretty decent chain restaurant. We have visited the Springfield location several times and have never had any problem. Every time, the server god the order right and it was delivered to our table in a timely manner. I have usually ordered breakfast items, but on our last visit a couple of days ago, everyone chose something from the dinner menu. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, with wonderful corn, and a baked potato. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie, which she said was far superior then those pot pies that you would purchase at a supermarket. What was especially interesting was the pumpkin bread which we really wanted to order more to take home. We all were happy with the dinner that food we ordered, and we will surely be back again!

We had a party of four, including a baby, when we decided to attend this restaurant for Sunday breakfast. The waitress, Brenda, already seemed overwhelmed as she wasnt handling the stress of it very well. We were rushed through our meals and handed the receipt minutes later, without even checking to see if everything was okay. We went to the counter to pay for our meals and were greeted by one of the managers. Manager: How was your meal? Husband: Actually, not great at all. My meal came out very salty. Manager: Oh, well...no one else complained about that meal...your total is... The heart of being dismissed simply because no one else complained was so disheartening.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food tasted great, but I got horribly sick after. I cant be 100% that the food caused this, so Ill give it 2 stars. However, I am 99% sure it was the food. The syrup had this plastic type film that kept forming on it, which may have been normal, but I found it quite unappealing! For taste, Id give it a 4/5 stars, however, my other experiences related to this location stop be from giving 4 stars. While I do normally love Bob Evans, my experience at this location was less than satisfactory.

We came on a Saturday late morning and the wait was very long. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get a seat (which we were told 25 minutes which was pretty accurate) and probably waited another 35 minutes or so for our food. The salad I got tasted very good however I was disappointed that they didnt put very much chicken on it for the fact I ordered a large salad. Host and waitress were nice.

This was our main place to eat during a recent trip to DC. We had several different servers at different times of the day and found everything to be very good to excellent. The food was great and we especially liked the option to swap out side dishes. Marcus was a particular standout. I wish there was a Bob Evans in my hometown.

Lately the service has been terrible. I sat at the bar for almost 10 mins before someone even acknowledged I was present. This was after I had to force for someones attention. Im unsure if their under new management, but during my visit 3 days ago, it was the same subpar service. Some changes definitely need to be made & quick!

This restaurant gets all thumbs down!! We had a party of 45 people and they only send two waitresses to take orders. We arrived at 7 and still havent gotten any drinks or our orders taken and it was going on 9! So of course yes Im upset!!! And they close at 9 and nothing hasnt been delivered still!!

This place serves a good, ole fashioned southern breakfast. Albeit hidden, it is a treasure. The food is fresh and delicious. Service is timely, especially during the weekday mornings. Our regular server, Glenda, is very knowledgeable and spritely. We like starting our weekday morning with her.

I always get good service and the food is always great. I recommend country fried steak and eggs. Usually pick up the banana bread to go....Only complaint is that it is packed for breakfast. It is my favorite place to get "breakfast" for lunch -- when its not quite so packed.

Sooooowwww. Silverware not clean. Most Bob Evans are like that. Order extra napkins and ice water. One to wipe your mouth and drink, the other to dip your silverware in than wipe off the previous customers leftover food. Dirty overall. They need inspections from corporate!

The food is always good. The service is always slow. Go on a lazy day when you have nowhere else to be. If the wait staff and kitchen were faster it would be 5 stars. Had a 2 hour dining experience there tonight; at least they comped the meal.

We went on a Sunday morning, not much of a wait considering it was closer to lunch, and the church crowds were arriving. Service was quick, food was just as described. Biscuits were to die for. A great spot for people watching.

Food is always good. I often eat breakfast there. But, lunch and dinner is excellent as well. Service can be a tad bit slow when they get busy, which is often. But, it is a fantastic place to eat!

waiter was OK . Food was good as a Hamburger can get, not over cooked. For not that busy of a night, did have to wait long time for food to arrive at table,(Was there at 6 pm on a Tuesday)

Just ate at a Bob Evans last week in Maryland. Both times, the food was very good. But the wait staff and the kitchen were extremely slow at this location. The restaurant wasnt even busy.

Great American comfort food. Not great for eating healthy, but if you want standard American comfort, this is your place. Also breakfast food. So much breakfast food.

Came in after the lunch rush, and while getting seating took a little too long, service was quick and the food was just what I was looking for!
