First Visit... we had the pot roast and the Irish nachos....we ordered one serving of each, we both ate more than enough and still carried food home, generous portion size.. what makes it even better is that the food was fabulous, Home cooked taste...Freshly prepared... Our server Lindsay was great..Enough attention without hovering.. The Decor is pure old-style Irish pub, heavy wooden furniture... It is very relaxing .. we went During happy hour and the drafts and a lot of cocktails and appetizers were half price.. It is on cary street so plan on parking somewhere else and walking in.. it is the best meal we have had since we have been in Richmond.. Hope to be regulars ...

Only came here to drink after eating at Buzz and Neds. Took at least 7 minutes for anyone to even greet my group of 4. I was DD, so wasnt able to drink or see prices. The time between ordering a coffee and getting it was longer than Id like. I suspect it was due to the fact that we were on the patio in the rear of the building, but its inexcusable. Regardless, the decor was very nice on the inside. Bathrooms were clean as was the patio. The band they had was great, but holy-freaking-hell loud. Seriously, Id highly recommend hearing protection if youre inside at the bar while a band is playing. All in all, a good restaurant/bar.

Came in on a suggestion from a friend. They way he talked the place up it had some big shoes to fill. We circled the block a few times before finding a spot on the street to park (my truck wouldnt fit in the parking garage) we walked in and the hostess greeted us with a smile and sat us right away. Our server Jessica was great. Got our drinks ,appetizers and food out to us right away. We got Irish nachos and reubens. Food was great, the portions were just right. Our friend was right on the money with this suggestion. I would tell anyone who was looking for a great meal this place is were its at.

I ordered the fish and chips and substituted the sweet potato mash for the chips and was thrilled with this, my first Sine’ experience. The lightly battered fish maintained a deliciously fresh taste with a tasty homemade tartar sauce to compliment. Do not miss the opportunity that is the sweet potato mash as a side, your taste buds will thank you. The atmosphere was pub like but the back deck looks like the bright cheery atmosphere I prefer when the weather permits. Our server was great, in part because he suggested the sweet potato mash.

Are you still working on that? That was the first conversation piece that my fiancé and I had with the bartender.... She did not greet us, and what she was asking about was the check... 1 minute after she gave us our drinks... Thanks for the patience and utterly horrible service. I lost count on how many times this young lady walked about waiting for us to hand her to check and credit card. Ive never paid for a drink until after I finish my drink, who knows, maybe I was planning on ordering another drink?

Mixed drinks contained almost zero alcohol, even after complaining. Watery and expensive. Bar staff were clearly phoning it in. I dont remember this establishment being so bad, but its clearly gone waaaay downhill in terms of quality. Food was below average too. Maybe just a bad day in the kitchen? Who cares; at those prices, there shouldnt be bad days. Avoid, especially when there are so many good bars and restaurants within a few blocks.

Even on an insanely busy night, we had a great experience. We called ahead for a reservation to sit on the patio and the staff made it happen. This place is dog friendly and they actually mean it: they even brought water for our dog. Great food. We had heard the Irish nachos were good, and they were, but all the food was really good quality. Beer selection was local, but of course you could get a Guinness if you want.

Their food is overpriced and mediocre at best, the decor is pretty cheesy, but the wait staff was very friendly. Their sheppards pie is $12 and tiny, the mash on top is just 5 scoops, its weird. They put cheezits in the macaroni and cheese, which would be a good idea if theyd crusted it instead, but its just whole crackers tossed in. They dont even make fresh french fries, they come frozen.

Great atmosphere, excellent bar and beer selection, fun, quirky staff. One of the few places in Richmond that is affordable and actually open on weekends, so we often take out-of-town guests here for dinner. Nice place to take staff for holiday lunch and as a general thank you, so we walk there for lunch a few times each year. Fish and Chips is my personal favorite for lunch!

First time here. Sat at the bar. Had several starters....Irish Spring Rolls (Fantastic!), Pub Wings (Fabulous! ), Crab & Shrimp Dip w/house made flat chips (Dip Delicious....chips..not so much) . Bartender (Mark) very helpful & socialable. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the cleanliness of the restrooms. I highly recommend Sine Irish Pub & Restaurant!

Fun Halloween night! They put in great thought into decorating! What a fun hour & the Ashland beer, Saison, is an easy choice. Will return & try the small plates or appetizers soon. Sam Millers a favorite for lunch or dinner but trying Sines menu will be fine. Enjoyed the guests & the staff dressed for a fun holiday! Visit & rate it.

The drinks are great (and plentiful). My favorite dish is the Nacho Ordinary Nacho. The platter is so large, yet you dont want to share with others! So delish! Admittedly, though, its typical food youd find in Ireland/England, so dont come here if you want pasta or pizza. However, great food. Cant go wrong with a glutton fest here.

Bad food. We have been a few times before, it was just okay. This last time I got the tacos and they were very gross! Flavorless and not edible. I have tried a few other items and have determined this is a good hangout and beer spot. Food, not so much. Dont eat here unless you want something fried like fish and chips. Its nasty.

The Jefferson Sunday Brunch was great. Delicious foods with a warm atmosphere. The waiter just spent more time talking with the other table instead of meeting our needs. Another worker walked by several times and retrieved our dishes that needed to be removed from table. We also had to let him know we needed refills quite often

I had the Irish nachos which were great! The potatoes were fried sort of, so they were crispy on the outside! There was live music which was really cool. Just 2 guys and a guitar. It was 100 degrees so there was nobody out on the deck or patio but usually its full of people. Try the fried pickles!

Sine is perfect for every occation they cater to. Perfect atmosphere regardless of the time of day. Afternoon lunch hums with servers fast on their feet and the night life comes active with the perfect kind of chaotic harmony everyone needs to blow off steam from the week. Dine with confidence!

A great place to grab a bite to eat outside near the cobblestone! I always enjoy the fish and chips every time I visit. The location is not necessarily built as a music venue, but the bands they present are always enjoyable. Also the "go to" spot for St. Patricks day!
