Went to Hard Times last night & got possibly the WORST service Ive EVER received. The blond haired bartender was extremely rude. I got 3 tall bud lights & she gave me a $1 back out of the $20 that I gave her. No big deal, the issue came when I noticed one of the glasses had finger prints all over it & lip stick all around the rim of the glass. Before I could even explain to her that I just wanted a new glass, or beer. She immediately looks at me & yells... "I gave you a dollar back" So I told her thats not what I was there, then she rolls her eyes then walks over... I ask her to just pour the beer in another glass, she literally snatches it out of my hand, I watch her fill me up another beer in the most rude way, she lets beer overflow so much the entire outside of my glass was wet. If shes got an attitude that shes serving at a bar, where people might happen to get drunk & its too much for her. Tell her to find a new job. Next time shes rude. Ill definitely report her to the manager on the spot.

I was looking forward to eating there and took the whole family last night. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience due to rude staff. If youre in the group that goes there probably nightly for beer and pool, great, but if youre coming with a family, youre going to feel out of place. They have a "bouncer"posted at the door to the billiards room, which seems like strange overkill. When I simply walked to a wide-screen TV in the billiards room to watch a bit of football while waiting for my meal, I was approached and rudely told I would have to leave for "refusing"to wear a wrist-band (no one had asked me to wear a wrist band). The food was fair but, if you are with a family, I would go somewhere else. Way to bar-oriented and unfriendly to folks that dont frequent there.

Disappointing that they allow smoking. I went to see the band, and could only hang out in the restaurant. I cant understand how this is good for business -- by allowing smoking, you effectively ban those sensitive to smoke from patronizing your establishment, but if you banned smoking, everyone could still come and smokers could still take outdoor breaks. It really ruins the atmosphere and distracts from all the good qualities of the place. Also, it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth to be surrounded by all that, which makes it hard to enjoy all the flavors of the food and drink. Yuck.

The overall experience here is pretty nice. Everyones friendly, nice waitstaff and its good to come in on fight night to watch ufc or check out the live music. Place always seems at least a little busy and the foods good. As a pool player, you might find its a mixed bag. Tables are decent but 3 or 4 of them have very bad rolls. The others are quite playable, especially the one in front. This is the kind of place where you and the staff will be on a first name basis pretty quick and youll feel welcome every time. The smoke and the fact that they dont stay open later is a bit of a drag.

Been coming to hard times for a long time years even when it was shooters spent thousands of dollars in the place and after this comment will not any more. The service is bad the employees worse and management blows. You would think they would treat regulars like regulars but instead they treat em like you here just to give them your money. Will never go to hard times again

Its a bar, but sometimes they treat it like a club, blasting music. Its hard to talk to people. Sometimes I feel like theyre trying to do to much, but I understand they have to bring traffic in. They have a full menu Ive had a few times, its good. Not too expensive. Pool is free before 5 which I like. Its also in the same plaza as Taco Bell I see your game.

Always good. Ive been taking my sons with me to play pool there for awhile now. The great thing is I can smoke my cigar in the bar and pool area and enjoy a glass of Scotch with no whining from non-smokers. The restaurant part serves great food. As a guy that enjoys pool, alcohol, good food and a good cigar, this place is excellent.

Max is the best manager. Go ahead and take the time to introduce yourself to him and Nina, #1 server in Manassas. You will never be disappointed. The Santa Fe chicken salad and Southern Fried chicken sandwich rock. Beer list is extensive and updates in accordance to the seasons. I guarantee youll adore HTC as much as we do.

4 kinds of great chili. Great wings. Beer and pool. Restaurant side is separated from the pool hall, so there is quiet for those who want it. Dont see why this chain hasnt spread across the country. It would do well anywhere there is a cool winter.

Great local bar/restaurant. Pool tables inside, periodical events, sports on multiple televisions, ping pong, smoking and non smoking sections indoors Open virtually every night, even many holidays, until 2pm Food is great!

Its a dive bar, like most Hard Times are. I like the chili, and the beer was good. A guy got shot outside in the parking lot while we were here. So...might not be the greatest area, but it might have just been a one time thing.

Love the big open space for billiards and the bar. Theres also a private room upstairs that hosts PaintNite and plantnite. The lighting is kinda dim up there, but otherwise this is a great place for happy hour

My friend and I enjoy playing pool and eating the food here. My favorite is the coney dog with onions and cheese. The Cincinnati chili is good too but unfortunately my stomach can no longer handle it.

My friends loved playing pool, and enjoying a good beer while enjoying a good cigarette or cigar. Now this place has gone Nazi and no longer allows smoking in the bar/pool area! Boycotting this place!

Bartender was excellent, especially because we just kept ordering random shooters, je came up woth something excellent every time. The food was on so-so, but overall had a fantastic experience.

They will play the walking dead for you. Use to go to Arlington but it closed now. This is my new go to place on sunday. Food is just as good to.

My favorite bar. Awesome atmosphere. A well ventilated pool hall. Excellent beer selection. An great time everytime.
