Went for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised that such a(nother) sweet little restaurant is now calling Culpeper home. The was a great place to try after attending an event at The Loft around the corner. After a slightly rocky service start (drinks took longer than expected and a waitress swap), we enjoyed the friend green tomatoes featuring tomatoes from our waitress garden. The accompanying shrimp and red grits were delightful but we found that the Bourbon cola sauce was superfluous (and way too sweet). The entrees - fried chicken (traditional) over white truffle mashed potatoes with roasted Brussels and redeye gravy. The chicken was moist and the breading light yet crispy. The potatoes were spot on and the gravy was the perfect companion for the dish (although I wish there had been one more spoonful of it). The Brussels should have been a bit more roasted - not only for softness but for more roasted flavor. The husbands flank steak was cooked as he asked and had lots of flavor. The au gratin potatoes made him quite happy and the asparagus was cooked properly. We did have to ask for steak knives. Dessert - The peanut butter pie was a big hit and the warm berry tart was nicely done and not too sweet. We are already planning our next visit!

Love love LOVE the drinks and Brandon who tends bar at this swanky 1920s, Art Deco style restaurant. My fiancé and I had gone here for our anniversary and Ill say I was very impressed. Although the walls and ceilings are beautifully adorned with crystal chandeliers and pictures of Marilyn Monroe, amongst other folks from the era, you would expect there to be an air of pretentiousness; well this is certainly NOT the case. Our bartender Brandon was warm, inviting and exceptional! He gave us the best service weve had in the entire Culpeper region. And since Im not a big drinker, but had seen the bar patrons with these ornate drinks, I decided to give one of their mixed drinks it a try, and Brandon was very accommodating. He even showed us around the newly renovated building, which was just breath taking, btw! I cannot say enough about The Flavor on main, or Brandon. Not only have they gathered all of the best flavors of Culpeper ( both in food and in staff personality) but they have made our anniversary celebration wonderful and memorable one!

Sub-par food without the prices to match. The Food was okay, but not worth the price at all. I had the Filet ($29), my wife had the Southern Comfort Chicken($18). Portions were small on one plate all stacked up. Steak was cooked as requested and had good flavor, nothing I couldnt get at outback for a fraction of the price. Potatoes tasted like normal mashed potatoes with box gravy. Chicken was cooked well and tasted okay. Same potatoes as with Filet. My friend got the Crabcakes($25), two oreo sized, cookie cut frozen out of the box crabcake patties... What a joke. For Dessert I had Flavors "amazing" cheesecake; the only thing amazing about it was that they were charging $7 for a piece of cheesecake out of box. SUB PAR AT BEST, if youre going to charge the prices you have to have the food to match, but in typical Culpeper style they manage to rip you off for "meh" food.

Best restaurant hands down anywhere around! The food is fresh, delicious and prices are very reasonable especially for this caliber of food! In most cases, the prices arent any different than Glory days or Chilis! Great wine selection and the most unique and amazing cocktails I have ever had. The atmosphere is an Art Deco old Hollywood style, cozy and romantic yet hip and lively. Off the menu: I love the cucumber crab stack and calamari for apps and Go for the Filet or Flank Steak although everything is great! The specials are always fantastic as well! You wont go wrong with ANYTHING off the lunch menu and BEST Burger youll ever have!

After having a long Hot week at work, my husband said "Lets go out and grab a cocktail and a bite to eat " we decided to head to Flavor on Main to check out the new Bar Menu. Well. The food along with the service by the Bartender Jamie was outstanding . Jamies personality is great.. While visiting Culpeper or are a local dont let this place slip by Absolutely delicious either a quick bite at bar or a full dinner.

Great restaurant for date nights! The house salad was so so good, the goat cheese and strawberry dressing was a fabulous combination of flavors. The cesar salad was delicious as well, I loved the grilled romaine hearts. The crispy crab appetizer was good, though not the best crab cake in town but it was tasty!

By far my favorite place to eat in Culpeper. The food here is on an entirely different level. Ive tried the majority of the menu and nothing here just taste "okay", everything is bursting with flavor. Try the Creamy Mushroom Soup!
