I went here on Easter - and it was not crowded. Plenty of tables. Most of them dirty. The one person bussing the tables is very good - but the worker who was "on break" sitting with his family was distracting him from his job to meet his family. That same worker "on break" was holding up the register to get his reduced meal from another worker. The break worker showed no sense of urgency and was chatting with everyone instead of placing his order, but yet taking up the place at the register while paying customers were waiting. Eventually another staff worker came to a second register and I went there. She was learning the register but seemed to get it if she could focus. Guess what. The worker on break started talking to her about what a good worker she was and how hard she works all the time and Im about to say, "then let her work." but Im glad I held my tongue. Certainly in front of all the other customers in line he would make a comment about me having an attitude on easter, taking up more time at the register. he still had not yet placed his order.

I want to give this 4 stars but cant. I really like la Madeleine, but this location in a sprawl-mall didnt have the quirky heart some of the older locations have. But, the food is good and fresh and prepared quickly. Breakfasts are a nice change - quick like fast food, more elegant than a diner. I stick with the things I like - a large Caesar salad. A potato gallete with scrambled eggs for breakfast. Sometimes a tuna croissant. All in all a nice place for a quick breakfast or tasty lunch.

Love this place... Great family restaurant with french flair and food. No matter if you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, there is something for you all day. Have a delicious salad that is amazingly good with all the toppings or a french grilled sandwich that will make your mouth melt. However, do not leave without having a delicious pastry from all different parts of Europe. Your choice are out of this world. Great for that little sweet tooth.

This is my favorite bakery to go for pastries. Everytime I walk in now, they know Im looking for a box of minis and maybe a slice of cake. ;) I feel welcomed here and like a known customer. They are also doing coupon packs. You buy as a donation to help hungry children and the coupons are actually pretty good ones. I used a few on my pastry items. Some dont apply to that though, so guess Ill have to check out their actual meals. :D

Terrible service, Dont waste your time going to this place. I waited 45 minutes for my food just to find out that my order was placed to go. Talked to the manager to know what had happened and he just said it was a misunderstanding. By that time my food was given to me it was so cold and the order was not even correct. What a waste of time and money. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

The food was great, however the espressos we ordered never came, even after I went back up to the counter to ask about them. After we finished eating, still no drinks. Went to the counter, asked for a refund and it took at least five minutes to find somebody who could help me. Doesnt make me want to rush back. :(

The food was okay but I called-in the order ahead of time and it wasnt ready, then I got home and the order wasnt correct. I can understand them making a mistake if they were busy, but the place was nearly empty and there were about four employees standing around talking when I got there. Not acceptable service.

Restaurants today are usually lacking in 1-2 areas (food quality, price, customer service, atmosphere). This place covered all of the above. Ill definitely return and let friends know this is a great place to eat!

For affordable French-ish food, go here. The food is good, the atmosphere and decor is great, and if youre in a bit of a hurry, you get your food quickly and you can be on your way.

La Madeleine has a lot of healthy options. The new Procencal chicken and artichoke rice bowl is very good. There is no pressure to leave, space is always available.
